when El said her best friends name tears started to roll down from her eyes. she was so relieved to see Max that her eyes just kind of did that. she didn't even know there was such a thing as tears of happiness, but there must be because the joy of seeing Max again is almost unlike anything she's ever felt.
"Eleven" Max said before running up and hugging her which El immediately returned "I didn't know I- if I'd ever see you again!" El cried out "likewise" Max said burying her head deeper into El's shoulder.
They finally pulled apart and El asked "How is this possible?" hoping Max would have the answer that she didn't have "I don't know, one minute all there was, was darkness. and the next, I saw you"
El suddenly hugged Max again "is it ok if I go tell the others what is happening? plus I wish to see if the.. hospital workers? have noticed any change in your condition"
"Doctors" is all Max replied with a smile
"Oh right, Doctors" El said back, she was always grateful that Max would point things like that out without making a big deal about it. Mike used to be more patient, but lately he'll just laugh or make fun of her and Eleven won't understand why.
"but yeah just.. come back soon okay?"
El hugged a little tighter before pulling away "of course" and with that El was there, and then she was gone.

Now rather then looking at Max, El's eyes were sat on Lucas.
"No Luck?" he asked in a sad tone
"No!"
"ok there's alw-
"No I mean there was luck!"
"What?" Lucas asked with his eyes widening
"I saw Max!"
