Lucas grew worried when El didn't answer, but even more so when she sunk to the hospital floor.

He rushed to her "El, el get up there's probably germs all over this" he tried to joke but he heard light sniffles coming from her and grew more serious.

"El it's ok we'll get to see her tomorrow" he was now wrapping her in a hug.

Mike was growing a bit irritated that Lucas hasn't brought El back yet so he started walking down the hall..

"No now" El started to say trying to put herself back together, but the tears still fell. She was thinking about the state she found Max in the last time she left her alone. And how she wants to make it her mission to never see her like that again.

"Tomorrow isn't that far away, El please" Lucas continued to hug her in hopes she'd stop crying.

Mike stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the sight before him, Lucas's arms around El's body. Mike didn't even process Eleven's upset face rather just turning to run off. His knuckles clenching tightly in a fist.

"Lucas" el said after a pause

"Yes?"

"I need to tell you something"

"So you mean to tell me you've been able to talk to Max this whole time, she had a major anxiety attack when you left, and you've been lying about all this because..?"

Lucas didn't seem mad, just slightly hurt. El decided to not hurt his feelings more by telling him Max didn't want to speak to him for whatever reason. And just shrugged not lying but not telling the full truth "Max asked me to"

He just raised his eyebrow and then groaned "I can't believe we're doing this" he pulled El up off the floor, and headed in the direction of Max's room.

Mike didn't know what was going on, had Lucas and El formed some kind of.. connection? He decided he needed to get his thoughts out of his mind by talking to someone else about them. Being desperate he had to talk to the only person available, his sister.
