"So he really said yes huh?"
"Yes like I just told you"
Max cracked a smile at El's bluntness
"What?"
"Nothing you're just cute" El found her cheeks heating up at that for some reason "t-thanks". she notices Max's smile drop "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing, it's just.. Lucas loves me"
El was a bit confused as to why Max kept repeating herself, she hoped she didn't have brain damage from the coma. but thought it would be best to ask more about that later. "Do you.. Love him back?"
"I-well I like him a lot"
"But don't love?"
"No I don't love Lucas" she said looking down
El just kinda patted her on the back unsure of what to do. "Well where were we-"
Max says returning them to their previous conversation before the Lucas thing even came up.

Mike and Will were sitting in Mike's room. they were supposed to be hanging out together but to Will's disappointment, Mike was just ranting about El the whole time.
"-And then she told me we probably wouldn't be able to have a date until Max wakes up! what if Max doesn't wake up!? what then?"
If Max doesn't wake up I think you and El going on a date will be the least of everyone's concerns Will thought but instead replied "I thought you didn't even like going on dates anyway?"
"Will, that's not the point, the point is El's my girlfriend. she should make time for me"
sigh "Mike I'm sure you and Eleven can spend some time together when the coma thing isn't so new, or hopefully when Max wakes up. but until then just give El a little time to adjust, and spend some quality time with your friends instead"
"Yeah sure that would be great, if Lucas wasn't also at the hospital, and if Dustin didn't spend every waking moment with Eddie"
Will looked a little hurt but replied with a smile "While you always have me"
Mike looked like we need the whole gang, duh but replied "Yeah right, cool, sorry"
And with that they just started talking about random stuff that thankfully wasn't Eleven.
