"Friends don't lie" Eleven interrupted with what has now become one of her "catchphrases"
-haha-max nervously giggled-but sometimes friends do lie.. if it's for a good reason" El looked skeptical but gestured for her to continue "so I was wondering if you'd consider.. tellingeveryoneyouhaven'tbeenabletocontactmemuch" Max said the last part so fast El was barely able to catch it, but when she did her eyes widened
"Why?"
"It's just getting the messages from Lucas.. really hurt." especially when you're the one delivering them
Eleven had no idea how that could hurt her health but if it did, then she guessed she'd have to lie for good reason
"Ok"
"Thank you" it was like they had an understanding not to talk about it further.
Max felt guilty for asking El to lie since she hates lying, so in an effort to get her mind of it she asks "wanna go to our day in the mall?"
El knew exactly what day she was talking about and smiled while nodding her head "and it's my mind so I can get rid of those judgy bitches who were there last time"
El also knew who she was talking about when she heard her call them "judgy" "but it was fun splashing juice on those judgy bitches faces"
Max looked a little surprised that El repeated that word until she asked "what does bitches mean anyway?"
Max gave her a smile and took her hand "I'll tell you later"
