SYNDEY
"Baby, wanna eat something small?" As I fiddled with my phone on the phone holder finding a restaurant to take her. "The restaurants I want to take you to are closed for lunch and will open around 4:30pm."
"A refreshing drink will do and maybe a cheese danish."
"Okay, how about the closest Starbucks?"
"That works."
I plugged in the direction to the closest Starbucks in my phone and ordered it on my mobile app. "Ok, it says it will be ready in 7 minutes and we are 5 mins away."
Lana nodded her head while she was looking out the window at all the hotels that filled the strip. When we arrive I pulled up to the drive-thru window.
"Hi, I made a mobile order under Sydney."
"Yes ma'am, it's ready. You can pull forward and we will get that ready for you."
I pulled up the side and rolled down my tinted window and smiled at the barista. "Thank you so much."
She seem stunned at first, but quickly handed our order. "Are you Sydney Reece?" She asked.
"Shhh, I told her. Don't let the other customers hear you." I teased her.
"Right, sorry Ms. Reece," she said all flustered.
"Haha, just call me Sydney."
"Okay, uhmm, can I get your autograph on my arm?"
"Yeah, sure."
She handed me a pen and I wrote it on her wrist as nicely as I can. "Now, you can get it tattooed as a remembrance I smiled at her.
"Oh, I most definitely will," she said excitedly. "Have a good one Sydney."
I nodded at her and continued driving on down the strip.
"Couldn't resist could you, Babe."
"What do you mean?"
"Had to be all nice to the barista, signing her wrist, smiling at her?"
"Do I smell jealousy, baby?"
"What.. no. Of course not."
"Okay, good." I took her hand and kissed the top of it. "The one I want and who I love is sitting in the passenger seat."
"Please do not sing Stephen Speaks, right now." She scuffed.
"Hahah, how'd you know I'd do something like that?"
"Babe, it's you. You'll sing anything."
"Yeah, and you're the one who always wants to mess with my radio and we gotta fight about it." I laughed at her.
"Babe, that was college. For real, you're going to bring that up?"
"You're cute when you get upset, you know that?"
"You find everything I do cute. If it's not cute it's like I turn you on."
"Haha, come on baby, I can't help it. You make me feel incredible inside."
