Everyone stood at a standstill. Simon stepped forward a bit.
S:... Tessa...?
Tessa: S!!!!!
She quickly ran up to him, hugging him.
Tessa; YOU'RE ALIVE AND REMEMBER ME- ACK!!! Ow. Too tall.... And cute... Airs toxic too...
She coughed, before noticing Uzi.
Tessa: and who's this little- wah!
Uzi tried biting her.
Uzi: Uzi. Why are you here human!?
She then looks at J.
Uzi: Real tired of killing this one!
J rolls her eyes and scowled at her.
J: effective drones were given extra backups.
N/V: oh yeah, right.
Tessa: the defects disappeared on earth-
Z: Boss ran away-
Tessa: We Mutually disengaged. Their last known act was Siccing you lot on the human exoplanets.
N: but why!?
T: that's what we're trying to figure out.
T was playing with a paddle ball. A red A.S. Symbol grabs the Robot Roach off of Tessa's head and into Doll's hand, who had an enraged face. Her body distorted before she rapidly teleported away, only making small jumps.
Tessa: that's kinda a big piece.
J, Z, and T all fly after her. They chase the drone through an old factory of sorts, Doll avoiding every explosion. She managed to jump into a deep pit, that looked to be bottomless. The 3 drones land at the edge with Tessa. It's then that the others catch up, land a small distance away from the others.
Tessa: J, relay had, CYN's orders.
J holds up her hand, projecting a images of what CYN and the other defects were planning to do.
J: Step 1: clear drop zone of life and construct spire. Step 2-
Tessa: enter labs with this symbol!
Tessa points to one on the "department" list labeled "cabin fever" using tape and a sharpie.
Tessa: it's not much to go off if, but if CYN wants these labs, we burn them down!
Z: aaaand, that key bug's our way in.
J displayed the bug on a scanner.
Tessa: J. Mind my ship.
She threw the keys to her. J catches them.
J: uhh... of course, boss!
J flew away. Right after that, Uzi approached Tessa.
Uzi: Why does this involve Doll!? What's happening to-... her?
Tessa crouched down.
Tessa: she recons that the humans did something to her folks down here... gave them what she called a sickness she inherited.
Uzi narrows her eyes.
Uzi: ...and?
Tessa:... I think she's right...
There was a moment of silence.
Tessa: you guys coming or what!?
She dives into the facility with Z and T following. S, V, N, and Uzi watch for a second.
