Chapter 13: Sports Festival (Obstacle Race)

I looked over my alter. I heard some footsteps coming closer. I head over to the corner. I know they can't see me but I don't want them to know I'm here. I watched the door open and then close. Shoto. He walked over to the alter.

"Hi, sis. It's been a while. I know I haven't talked to you in a while but it's the anniversary when you went missing." I walked up to him. I could kill him right here. But he cares about me. I wonder why. We were only with each other since four before the incidents. I walked closer to him. The door creaked open and turned to look. Fuyumi.

"Shoto? You're still up? You should head to bed."

"I was just leaving." He turned and walked out of the room. Fuyumi followed him and closed the door. I sighed. I should leave. I walked over to the window and opened it. I climbed out of it and closed it. I walked out of the house and started heading towards the train station.

*1 hour later - LOV*

I walked in. Shigaraki spotted me.

"Where have you been? You could have been arrested."

"Don't worry. No one knew where I was." I walked past him and to my room.

"Even though I can't see you, I know you're there." I rolled my eyes and walked into my room. I put on some clothes and turned to my normal self. I fell onto my bed. I grabbed my phone. I scrolled a bit before falling asleep.

*Two weeks later - UA High School*

The days flew. I went to school, either hung out with some of my friends, trained, or went back to the LOV. Shigaraki every once and a while sent me on a mission. Shinso and I talked about the class because of the class representative thing.

I walked to class. I spotted Shinso and Aki. I walked over.

"Hey, guys. How are you?"

"I'm good. How about you Shinso?"

"I'm fine. Just a bit tired." I looked at him.

"You're eye bags have been worse recently. Have you been sleeping enough?"

"Yeah. Just training a lot so I get tired fast." 

"Are you guys ready for the festival today?"

"Yeah! I can't wait! I have been training a lot, preparing for it!"

"Same. I've been trying harder to try to get into the hero course."

"Yeah. You have improved. I remember the first we trained together. I got you on the ground so easy. Now, it's harder and you know how to fight a bit."

"Yeah." The bell rang and we all sat down.

*Afternoon - inside stadium*

I stood next to Shinso and Aki. Midnight was the chief referee of the festival. She calls the student representative, Bakugo, onto the stage.

"What is his dumbass going to say?"

"Probably "I'm going to win."

"Yeah, probably right." He walked up to the microphone.

"I just want to say, I'm going to win."

"Wow, in the same words." All the students started booing at him.

"I'm going to punch him."

"Akane, calm down."

"I'm fine. I just want him to know he can't say that and beat his ass while doing it." Shinso laughed.

"As if." He walked off the stage and back into his class's group. Midnight walked back onto the stage. She told us what we were doing. An Obstacle Race. The quirk I'm using isn't good for that. It'll be fine. I can do it. I'll just fail at the end. 

Before I knew it, it started. We all tried to get out of the small doorway. Todoroki froze everyone in place. I used my quirk to break the ice and kept moving. I spotted Shinso. He had mind-controlled people to carry him. I got over to him. I used my quirk to free the people.

"You owe me one." I looked back at the crowd. Some of the students from class 1-A got free. I'm falling behind. I felt a hand pull me up. Shinso lifted me on top of the people carrying him.

"I have paid. Now, you electrocute people so they are out of the way." I nodded. As we were being carried, I created and threw spears at the ground so the people nearby would be electrocuted. "Good job." Then, I heard something. I looked and saw robots blocking the path. Todoroki froze one of the robots. He got ahead. The robot flew to the ground, stopping other people. Kirishima and another guy broke out from one of the robots. Bakugo and two other students from class 1-A took down a robot. Another girl from class 1-A created a cannon and shot a few more down. "Akane, use your quirk." I nodded and threw spears at the robots' heads and they fell to the ground. The green-haired boy took down another robot using a shield. "Keep moving." The people carrying us took us forward as I threw spears at the robots. I can't use my quirk too much. I'll still need it. We moved on and saw a canyon with tightropes as the only way to get to the other side.

"Shit, they can't carry us across so we have to do it ourselves." Shinso nodded. I thought for a bit. I came up with an idea. I created a special spear and threw two of them onto a tower and two on the platform we were standing on. The handles stretched out and connected. It created a small walkway. Every couple of seconds, electricity spread across it. I turned to Shinso. "Let's go. We got to go fast if we don't want to be electrocuted." He nodded. We ran across it. The electricity spread through the spears and a few people who tried to cross it got hit. I rid my head. "I don't think I can do it much more." He nodded. He looked at it.

"We can cross it just by balancing but there has to be an easier way." He looked around. "I'm going to talk to people." I nodded. He spotted some of the students near us. "What classes are you from?"

"I'm from Class 1-C." Shinso took control of him.

"I'm from Class 1-E." Shinso also took control of him. One person left.

  "I'm from Class 1-D." Shinso took control of them. "You three, create a  bridge with those three." He pointed to the three people that carried us.

"You still had them under your control?"

"Yeah. They still could be useful and once they are free from it, they won't respond to me, again." They came over and created and bridge with their bodies. We walked across them. "We just have to do this a few times."

After a while, we got across. A bit before, we heard a person telling us that someone was at the final obstacle.

"We got to hurry."
