Chapter 27: Kidnapping

I was at the highest point on the mountain. I opened my phone. Shinso sent me a lot of messages asking about what happened. I opened them. "Akane! What happened early?!" "Please respond! I want to understand what happened!" "You killed 15 people!" I sighed, set my phone, and looked up at the sky, I remembered how he kissed me—pulled me into him. His soft lips touched mine. I rub my thumb over my lips. I wonder if will still like me after that. I'll talk to him later. I looked down at the forest. There was blue fire. Dabi must have used his quirk. I looked down at my phone and started scrolling.

*Few hours later*

I was playing a game on my phone and I got a text from Dabi. "We are ready to leave." I sighed. I'll be up in a second. Let's see how they do when I haven't appeared when they wanted me to.

Five minutes later, I decided to rescue them finally. I turned into Kurogiri and created a portal. I was behind Dabi.

"It's been five minutes since the signal. Let's go Dabi." I created a few portals and Toga walked through one, and then Twice went through another. Mr. Compress was about to walk into another one but Dabi wasn't ready to leave.

"Hold on. We're not leaving without the kid."

"Don't worry. They were so proud of themselves for rooting through my pockets that I thought I'd let them gloat. But let me explain a basic tenant of magic. If I flaunting something shiny, then there is something else I don't want you to see." Mr. Compress took off his mask and revealed that he placed Tokoyami and Bakugo in marbles that were placed on his tongue.

"He's got them." Tokoroki and Midoriya spoke at the same time. Mr. Compress released the other marbles and they were Todoroki's ice.

"Is that my ice?" No shit. Who else ice would it be?

"That's right. During the freezing attack, I prepared dummies and slipped them into my right pocket. 

"Damn it!" Midoriya started running towards Mr. Compress with Todoroki and Shoji.

"A little bit of misdirection. Forgive me. I do so adore a twist ending." Mr. Compress was walking back into the portal. Dabi followed next to him.

"You can't do this!" 

"One last bow and then the curtain fall-" A naval laser hit Mr. Compress's face, knocking his mask off. Mr. Compress spat out the marbles. Midoriya, Todoroki, and Shoji moved closer to grab them. Midoriya tumbles because of his broken bones and Shoji grabs a marble. Todoroki was about to grab the other but Dabi snatched it away from him. Dabi held the marble closer to his head.

"Well, it's that a tragedy. Poor little Shoto Todoroki." Todoroki falls and rolls to the ground. Midoriya tried to get the other marble back. 

"Confirm it now. Release them."

"That laser ruined my finale." Mr. Compress snapped and Tokoyami and Bakug were released from the marbles. Tokoyami was in the air and Bakugo was right near Dabi. Dabi grabbed Bakugo's neck and moved into the portal.

"Checkmate. Heh." Dabi went deeper into the portal with Bakugo.

"Kacchan, no! Kacchan!" Midoriya got close to the portal.

"Stay back, Deku." Bakugo was fully in the portal and Midoriya hit the ground. I got out of there, too. I appeared back at the LOV with everyone else. I turned back into my normal self. 

"Well, wasn't that fun?"

"Akane?" I looked over.

"Right. I forgot you here."

"Akane. What the hell are you doing with the League of Villains?!"

"What do you mean? I have always been with the League of Villains. Since school started to the sports festival, and till now." I turned to walk away. "I'm heading to my room. Have fun."

"So that date we went on. Was that to get my guard down?" I snapped my gaze towards him. I gave him a cold stare.

"Akuma. What is he talking about?"

"Akuma? The copy villain? The one I told you about, how much a pain in the ass they were, Akuma?! No! This must be a joke! What about Shinso?! You went on a date with him, too! Are you just using us?!"

"Akuma. You got 1 minute to explain." I glanced at Dabi. Of course, he would want to know. I'm off now before shit gets worse.

"I'm off," I said and ran towards my room. I locked the door and started packing. I'm sitting in a hotel tonight. They are going to kill my ass if I stay here tonight. I packed some of my clothes, shoes, and a few other things I needed. I also grabbed all of my money. I packed a few things for Kage. and put him in his harness, then the backpack. I packed up the suitcase and climbed out the window. I started walking away from the LOV and called over a taxi to get me away from there.

*Few minutes later*

I was in a taxi and driving to a hotel when I got a call.

"Hello?"

"This is Katsuki's mom. I just heard that he has been kidnapped."

"I'll head on over to your house. Beware, I do have a cat with me."

"Okay. That's fine. Just come as quickly as possible."

"I will. I'll see you soon." I turned to the taxi driver. "I have a new address I need to go to."

*10 minutes later*

I was at Bakugo's house again. I knocked on the door. Mrs. Bakugo opened the door.

"Thank you for coming. I got a call from UA saying Katsuki got kidnapped by the League of Villains."

"The League of Villains? Are you sure?"

"Yes. They told us on the phone. Come in." I bowed and walked in. I took off my shoes and walked to the living room. "You can set your stuff in Katsuki's room. It's down to the hall on the right." I nodded and walked down the hall. I spotted a down that said Katsuki on it. I opened the door and examined the room. There wasn't much. Just some All Might things here and there. I set my things down and released Kage. I flopped down on his bed. I wonder how he would react to me being in his room. So after, I fell asleep.
