Chapter 39: Shie Hassakai

*A while later - Abandoned Factory*

 Shiggy called me to an abandoned factory because Twice was bringing someone new. I was sitting up on a metal walkway about the others. I remember Bakugo and I in his dorm. I couldn't get it. I heard the door open. I looked down and saw Twice walking in with someone behind him. I examined the person. It was Kai Chisaki. I laughed a little, not loud enough for them to hear me.

"Well, now. You brought us a pretty big catch here, huh, Twice?"

"You think so? Strange, coming from you. The League of Villains."

"What gives? Is he famous or something?" I rolled my eyes. Magne doesn't know about Chisaki.

"My master showed me a picture of him. He's what you call a "yakuza". The young head of the Shie Hassakai. To what do you owe the pleasure." I laughed again. A bit louder but not loud enough for them to hear.

"He's the number two of the whole gang? Ooh! I never met someone like him before. He smells so dangerous. How exciting!"

"What's the deal? We are all criminals here, so how is this guy different?"

"Ah. Allow me to tell you a story. In the past, there were many different scary troupes that ran the underworld. After heroes started thriving, though, they slowly but surely began to disband. When All Might took the stage, their era was over. The yakuza who weren't caught became rent-a-thug to villain groups. In other words, they were the lowest form of criminals, barely scrapping to make a living Frankly, they were obsolete. An endangered species."

"Endangered species, huh? I guess that's true."

"Yeah. What's a yakuza thug from the slums doing here? Let me guess, you're excited about All Might's retirement, too."

"It's good that he's gone, sure. But I'm more interested in All for One's absence. The dark emperor who ruled over the shadows. The old-timers always feared him, even after rumors of his death. Honestly, though, most people my age thought that he was an urban legend." Like all the torture I went through was a "urban legend". I sat there to see what he was going to say next. "You can imagine the shock when he showed up in the flesh. But in the end, the big bad was thrown into Tartarus and the Symbol of Peace retired. Which those of us in the shadow and those in the light are leaderless. So, who will take their places?"

"You know who my master is, but you still got the nerve to ask that? Sounds like a challenge." Shiggy stood up and started walking towards him. "I'm the next leader." I grew bored of listening so I just continued to text Bakugo. He asked about earlier and when he could do it again. I tuned them out. I was texting him for a while when I heard Chisaki's intentions.

"Make me your new leader and I'll show you exactly how to use the right tools."

"And why would we do that? I already beat your ass once. I can do it again and take over your little group." Everyone looked up at me. "You might have a plan but how would you handle someone stronger than you?" I jumped down from where I was sitting. I stood up straight. "Nice to see you again."

"Akuma. You fought him before without telling me?"

"I don't tell you every time I kill someone." Shiggy rolled his eyes.

"Leave." Magne unwrapped her giant magnet.

"Sorry about ya, small fry. But we didn't band together to serve under someone's boot." She activated her quirk and pulled him towards her. "The other day, I met with an old friend. She's a gentle soul. But she supports me, even knowing my past. You know what she said? "Those who are bound by the chains of society laugh at those who aren't. I'm here because I don't want to be bound by anything!" Chisake slipped off his glove. "We're free to decide exactly where we belong!" She started to swing at Chisaki but Chisaki scratched her with his finger and in a few seconds, her top half exploded. Her blood flew everywhere.

"No! Big Sis Mag!"

"Just remember you made the first move. Ugh, I'm filthy now. That's why I hate the aftermath." Chisaki started rubbing his arm. Compress jumped towards him.

"Compress, wait!" Compress didn't listen to Shiggy.

"No! I have to seal this guy away!" I spotted a tiny bullet that struck Compress. Compress touched Chisaki. "Why isn't my quirk working?"

"Don't touch me!" Chisaki broke out into hives. He grabbed Compress's arm and threw him away while exploding it. He screamed in pain as his blood flew everywhere. Shiggy ran towards Chisaki. A bullet was shot close to Shiggy but it missed.

"Sheild!" Another person slid in front of Chisaki as Shiggy slid in front of him and touched his stomach, turning his body to dust. Shiggy slid back.

"Now I get it." The wall behind Chisaki was broken. A few people wearing bird masks stood near Chisaki. "You should have just started with this. Save us all some time." I walked closer.

"That was a close one, Overhaul."

"You're late."

"And I missed a shot. But at least we know they work."

"Where did you come from? We weren't followed! I swear!"

"Come down Twice. Besides, I got some playthings." I approached them.

"Akuma. Stand down." I rolled my eyes. "One of them probably has a tracking quirk."

"Hard to be objective in this situation. Besides, killing each other isn't productive. A death on both sides. Let's take a breather. We'll cool our heads and try again later. I owe your side an arm." Chisaki turned and walked away.

"Bastard! I'll eviscerate you!"

"Tomura. Lemme cut him. Real quick."

"If Shiggy didn't let me play with Chisaki's members, what makes you think he will let you cut Chisaki?"

"No."

"It's my responsibility!"

"No."

"Smart decision, facepalm guy."

"Handyman next time. He hates that." I laughed a little.

"I don't wanna rush you but the soon as we talk, the better. think things over carefully. Consider how your organization should be run." Chisaki took out a card and threw it. "Then, when you calm down, call me."

"They got to pay for this! Why can't I go after them."

"Think, Jin. We need to get Atsuhiro to a doc."

"Right."

"My power wouldn't work. Damn, that hurts." Toga took out her knife and stared at it.

"Maybe we do have time to make them bleed."

"No."

"Come on, Tomura."

"Another time." Shigy started walking away. "Shie Hassakai. You will pay for what you have done today." I stared at Shiggy.
