I waited by the bike rental. I checked the time. A couple of minutes till 9. I unlocked my phone. I texted Shinso. "Where are you?" Two arms wrapped around me.
"I'm right here." I turned and pushed him off.
"Come on, Shinso. Now ready to go?" He nodded. We grabbed the bikes.
*Around 10 o'clock-outside cafe*
We parked the bikes and paid. We walked in. The bottom floor was a pet store. We walked upstairs and to the counter.
"Two people and four cat treats for the cat cafe." The cashier nodded.
"Who's going to pay?"
"I will."
"But you paid last night."
"But I came up with this idea so I'm paying."
"No. I am." The cashier came back with two lanyards. I was going to grab my wallet but he put down his money instead.
"I told you I'm paying."
"I know but you paid last night so my turn." The cashier took the money and handed us the cat treats and lanyards. We walked upstairs and sat down. A cat walked over to Shinso and he started petting it. He smiled. I laughed a bit. I got up and walked over to the corner and ordered some things. I paid and grabbed the food. I walked back to Shinso. He was still loving on the cat. I set some of the food down in front of Shinso.
"I got us something to eat." The cat got up and decided to curl up in his lap. "Awwww. You made a cat friend." I ate my food while watching Shinso and the cat. A cat walked over to me. I started petting it.
"You got a cat, too." I laughed.
*Around noon- outside cafe*
"Akane. Is there something you like to do for fun?"
"Huh? Why?"
"Well, we have some time left in the day so I thought we could do something else."
"Yeah. I guess. I like horror movies."
"We can watch a horror movie, then"
"Yeah. let's go. I know a place." I grabbed his wrist and pulled him.
*30 minutes later - inside the movie theater*
We walked in. We bought two tickets.
"Let's get some popcorn and drinks." He nodded. We waited in line. "Shinso. Do you have a cat at your house?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"I'm not allowed to." I nodded.
"I don't know if I'm allowed to. I probably just get one and bring it home." He laughed.
"Wouldn't your parents be upset?"
"I don't know." Parents. I don't love them. I hate them. We walked up to the counter.
"Can we get a large popcorn and two drinks?"
"Sure. What would you like for the drinks?"
"Can one be Cola? What about you, Akane?"
"Can the other be melon soda?"
"Sure." The cashier turned around. I smiled.
*Shinso's POV*
I looked down at Akane. She was smiling. Her smile is so cute. I wonder how she feels about me. She said she thinks Bakugo is a friend but she could be lying. Whatever. At least we're hangout. Akane looked at me.
"Is there anything else you want?"
"No. I'm fine. I'll pay because you paid for the tickets."
"Shinso. I told you, I'll pay for everything."
"I know but I still want to."
"Fine." She looked back to the cashier. The cashier set down the drinks and a large bucket of popcorn. Akane grabbed her drink and the popcorn. She grabbed two straws. I paid.
"Let's go." I nodded. We walked into the theater and took our seats. The movie started. I grabbed some of the popcorn.
*??? POV*
I watched as Akane and Shinso walked into a theater together. Why does she always hang out with him? He is always so with her. She should be with me. I grumbled and left the movie theater. No point in watching a movie if I'm going to know that they are there with each other.
*Around 2:45 - outside the Pet store*
I was walking home when I heard a meow in an alleyway. I turned and walked in. I saw a dark grey cat. It had a few scratches.
"Come here, kitty cat. I'll take care of you." The cat hissed. I slowly approached it. It hissed again and swiped at my hand with its claws out. It missed. After a bit, I pet the cat to comfort it. I looked at the injuries. "Come here. We are going to take you to a vet then the pet store." I stroked it and to a vet that wasn't that far. I walked in and to a corner. "Hi. I want to get this cat checked. I found it in an alleyway."
"Can I have your name?"
"Suko Akane." She nodded.
"We will call you when you are ready." I nodded and sat down with the cat. I stroked the cat and I got a text on my phone. I opened it. Shiggy. I opened. "Where are you? You have been gone for hours and I have another mission for you." "I'll be back about an hour or two. I have a cat right now. I text you once I'm heading back to the hideout." "Whatever. Hurry up." I rolled my eyes and put it away.
"Akane." I got and carried the cat with me. We walked into a room and the person closed the door. "Hi. What brings you here today?"
"I found this cat in an alleyway."
"Let me see it." I handed it to the vet. "Careful." The cat hissed and scratched the vet. It tore the vet's gloves.
"Guess you are going to have to help so we don't get hurt." I nodded. "Can you set them on the table?" I nodded and walked over to the table. I set the cat down on the table to let the vet see. I pet the cat to comfort it. "Let's start the check-up."
*Around 30 minutes later-Same room*
"The cat has multiple scratches from other cats but is mainly fine. He does have a microchip so we can see its history of shots. He has been neutered and has all of his shots. He had an owner so we called them. They said that they left him here so you can or someone else can adopt him." I nodded.
"I'll give him to an animal shelter." She nodded.
"Anyways, he fine."
"Thank you."
"Head to the counter to pay." I walked out of the room with the cat in my arms and to the counter.
"Hi. I'm here to pay." She nodded.
"That should be 10,000 yen. (Around 70 US dollars.)" I grabbed my wallet and paid. I left and started walking until I saw a pet store. There is no way I'm letting someone take him. He's mine now. I'll buy the stuff he needs. I walked in and started shopping for the cat.
