Chapter 21: Date part 2

I walked to the waterfall with Bakugo. We talked from time to time. I asked about his exams and he talked about how he and Deku had to win against All Might by taking him captive or escaping.

"That must have been hard to do since you two were up against the No. 1 hero."

"Yeah. And that damn nerd made it worse." I smiled. I looked at the ground and saw a white Fringed Iris. I picked it up and smelled it. They were my favorite before the incident. More memories came flooding into my head. I shook my head. We got to the waterfall. More and more memories flooded in my head. I shook my head. I felt my phone vibrating. Dabi. I tried breathing. I turned around and ran away. Bakugo was shouting at me. I continued running. Shit, shit, shit. Why do they come back now, after years of forgetting them until now? Once far enough, I leaned against the tree and slid down. I was sweating and had a hard time breathing. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths. I pictured Kage next to me, purring. I calmed down. I heard shouting. "Akane! Where did you go?! If you don't come out now, I'm going to beat your ass!" I got up. I guess that was pretty rude. I'll apologize later. I walked over to Bakugo. "Akane. Where were you and why the hell did you run away?!"

"Sorry. I had flashbacks. Let's head back. I'll buy you spicy ramen when we get down the mountain." He mumbled then turned to walk back to the waterfall. I caught up to him.

"Are you okay now?"

"Yeah. I just need a minute." We got back to the waterfall. I opened my backpack and tossed him a container of udon. I set out peppers, green onions, and a few other things to add. Bakugo added some things to his.

"Akane. What were the flashbacks about?"

"Oh, them. Nothing. Just from when I was younger."

"Okay." He looked at the waterfall. "Why did you say yes to me asking you on a date?"

"I thought it would be nice and it's fun to be around you."

*Few hours later - Tokyo*

I walked around with Bakugo.

"You want to go shopping? It'll be fun and isn't summer coming up? It'll be good to buy things for the summer."

"Yeah. I have a camp that I'm going to over the summer so I'll get some stuff for that." I nodded. I looked around for stores to shop at.

"Over there! There is a place where you can buy shoes. You might want something for the camp."

"Fine. Let's go." We walked into the store. We looked around. An employee walked up to us.

"Hi. Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Back off." I rolled my eyes.

"He is going to a camp soon so we were looking for shoes that would be good."

"Sure. Follow me. Hey. I recognize the two of you. You two were at the sports festival. How did you make it so far but bad in the torment?"

"Oh. One of my friends helped me get there." Baklugo snickered.

"Let's just fine the damn shoes."

"Right. Follow me." We followed the employee.

*1 hour later - Convenience Store*

I was sitting with Bakugo at a table. He bought some snacks for the trip. He got a few other things. We both got some clothes. We were eating some snacks when we both got a notification on our phones. We both looked at the notification. It was Kirishima. It read that Shigaraki was at the mall that almost all of the Class 1-A students at.

"You got the message that Kirishima sent right?"

"Yeah. But why the hell was shitty hair telling us this when it doesn't affect us?"

"Maybe just to be careful. Especially you since you are also in Class 1-A."

"Whatever. I'll kill him." Shigaraki, you idiot. You can't just do that. We continued eating.

"Do you know anything else about the camp?"

"Not really. They kept the location of the camp a secret. I bet Class 1-B is going to join us. Monomo is probably going to be a pain in the ass" I laughed a bit.

"You mean the copy quirk guy he hates your class?"

"Yeah. That piece of shit." I laughed again. I'll get the location of the camp later. I opened a candy and ate it. "Akane. What is your favorite memory?"

"Oh. Um..." I thought about it. I can't remember any happy memories. All of them are sad or have something bad with them. "I don't know. It'll take me a while to choose one. The closest thing would be heading to a cat cafe with Shinso then I got a cat later."

"You have a cat?"

"Yeah." I opened my phone and showed him a picture of Kage. "His name is Kage."

"How did you get your parents to get you a cat?"

"Oh, I didn't. I just found him and brought him home."

"And they let you keep him?"

"Yeah. We should check up with Kirishima thought to make sure he is okay."

"Whatever. We can do it later."

"Okay. Where do you want to go next?"

"My parents wanted to have dinner with you."

"Oh. When do you want to head over there?"

"I don't know. Around five o'clock?"

"Sure. Well, until then, what do you want to do?"

"Whatever you want to do." I smiled.
