As Frisk stepped through the door a wave of ice cold hit them. Frisk walked through the forest as the trees were covered in snow as it fell  and landed in Frisk's hair and on their shoes. All Frisk could see for a long time we're just trees, and a really large branch that had fallen onto the path that they had to step over.

Eventually Frisk came to a bridge, feeling that something was watching them. When they were about to step on the bridge they saw a black silhouette approaching them. Frisk had their back to the figure as they stood behind them.

"Human, don't you know how to greet a new pal? Turn around, and shake my hand," the figure said, sounding gleeful. Frisk turned around, facing the figure and shook their hand. What they didn't expect was that a fart like sound would come from doing that.

"Heheh, the old whoopee cushion in my hand trick! Anyways, you're a human right? I'm Sans, Sans the skeleton! I'm supposed to be on the watch for humans right now....but....y'know....I don't really care about capturing you. My brother Papyrus however, he does. He's coming over actually," Sans paused as Frisk looked a little worried.

Sans lead Frisk through the bars on the bridge and stopped. "Quick, behind the conveniently shaped lamp that looks exactly like you in a way!" Frisk nodded and hid behind the lamp as a taller skeleton with a long red scarf walking into view.

"What's up, bro?" Sans asked smiling, though he never looked like he stopped smiling.

"You know what 'sup' brother! It's been EIGHT DAYS and you still haven't recalibrated your puzzles! You just hang around outside your station! What are you even doing?!"

"Staring at this lamp, you wanna try? It's really cool!"

"No I don't have time for that!" Papyrus said annoyed, "What if a human comes through here?! I have to be ready! I must capture a human! Then I! The great Papyrus will get all the things I utterly deserve!.....Respect! Recognition! And I will be able to join the royal guard!"

"Maybe the lamp'll help you?"

"Sans! You are not helping!! All you do is get lazier and lazier every day!" For a spilt second Frisk saw that those words make Sans stop smiling before it was back on in an instant.

"Hey! I've gotten a ton of work done today....a SKELE-ton!"

"Sans!!"

"Come on," Sans said grinning, "you're smiling!" Papyrus smiles and pats Sans' head before leaving. "Okay, you can come out now," Frisk nodded and came out from behind the conveniently placed lamp.

"You oughta get going, he might come back....and if he does.....you'll have to sit through more of my hilarious jokes!"

Frisk nodded and smiled before leaving to try to find a way out of the freezing forest. Sans sighed and spoke again although it seemed like no one was there.

"I know you're here Chara, and I know you put that lamp there for that kid," Sans said softly as the ghost in question appeared. The same ghost Frisk had seen in the room and when they fell. "I knew it was you kid, I hope you know what you're doing. Maybe this time it'll be different...."

Chara smiled and nodded. "Well you should go make sure that kid's okay, I don't know why you decided to trust this one but if you do I'll try to." Chara hugged Sans as best as they can before flying off after Frisk again.
