Frisk saw a sparkling banner that read 'Cooking with a killer robot', making Frisk more uncomfortable being next to the robot. "Pre heat your oven because today we are makiiiiiiiing......A CAKE! And my assistant here with father the ingredients! We'll need sugar, milk, and eggs."
Frisk goes over to the counter and picks up the eggs, sugar, and milk, before going back over to the counter Mettaton is at and puts them near the cutting board. "Good job my lively assistant! We have all the ingredients we ne— oh my! How could I forget? The most important ingredient!!"
Frisk looked at Mettaton waiting for the next ingredient before the hair on their arms and neck stand on end as Mettaton raises a rusty chainsaw. "A human soul," Mettaton stated threateningly before the phone rang. "What is it?"
"Couldn't you, uh, use a non-human substitute?...."
"And why would I do that?" Mettaton asked annoyed as the chainsaw was still on and mere inches from Frisk's face.
"In case someone is....human...intolerant?"
"Huh.....very good idea child like voice! Luckily we have a human soul substitute! Lovely assistant could you go get it?"
Frisk nodded, relaxing as they get the ingredient and Chara let's put a sigh of relief before putting down the cell phone. Frisk came back with the ingredient after using the jet pack Alphys appeared to halve installed as a feature into their cell phone somehow to get it from a tall tower Mettaton had put it on.
After the cake was done Frisk and Chara continued through Hotland and came to an elevator and came to a hall that Frisk walked through, as well as walked with conveyer belts, used the platforms with arrows to jump across to other platforms and after a long time they came to a hall where the two guards that were guarding the castle walk over to them and begin a fight.
After the fight Frisk continued through the hall and into another Mettaton show.
"Hello! This is Mettaton! Reporting live from MTT news! News correspondent please find something wonderful to report!" Mettaton turned to the screen and watched Frisk go through the Hotland. After some time Frisk finishes 'reporting' a movie script that they found that was written by Mettaton.
In actuality Frisk had to defuse a large bomb as well as several other bombs that Mettaton had planted so they could survive and make it out of the underground.
Frisk walked through the hall and across several different kinds of puzzles before finally making it to a home decorated in spider webs. "Did you hear what they said," a mysterious voice asked. "They said a human wearing a stripped shirt will come through. I heard that they are scared of spiders."
Just then a spider woman appears on a spider web and Chara immediately flies to the furthest corner away from the spider woman, Muffet.
