A couple years later the monsters were allowed to live in the town with the humans. Chara is alive and human again, Asriel returned to their actual goat boy form, and Alphys and Undyne are together. "I'll be back mom! I'm going to Papyrus and Sans' house!" Chara yelled as they opened the door and put on their scarf to be safe from the cold of the winter.

"Okay dear! Just be careful!" Toriel yelled back as she started baking a cinnamon and butterscotch pie.

Chara left the house and closed the door before walking for a few minutes down the block to where the snow fell more and knocked on the skeletons' door. Sans opened the door. "Hey welcome kid, Papyrus is making spaghetti in the kitchen if you want any."

"Thanks, and here, Papyrus said you ran out yesterday," they hand Sans a red gift bag with a bottle of ketchup inside. Sans grins wider and hugs them before bringing them inside.

"They're upstairs if you're looking for them by the way," Sans said before going into the kitchen and putting the ketchup in the fridge. Chara nodded and went up the stairs to a room with a red heart on it. They opened the door.

"Hey Swee—"

They were cut off when their face was cupped and they were kissed. Chara kissed back and after a bit the two broke apart. Chara looked and saw Frisk smiling happily and holding them close. Frisk had decided to grow out their hair a bit, and had finally felt confident enough to not keep their black eyes with star like pupils hidden.

"Did you miss me Buttercup?" Frisk asked with a smile as Chara blushed.

"Of course I did! Come on! Asriel and Sans are gonna make a giant snowman!"

Frisk smiled and nodded before going outside with Chara. They spent the rest of the day having fun playing in and with the snow. Finally the monsters and humans had a happy ending.
