The Yellow Flowers

Chapter 7

After Frisk spent a day in Snowdin, sleeping in the Inn and talking with Sans and Papyrus(and beating/sparing Papyrus in a fight) Frisk decided to continue through the underground. The path had trees covered in snow as eventually Frisk made it to a darker place with waterfalls around the pathways.

Some part of the pathway seemed to have falling rocks as well. After they passed the rocks and the large water fall they got to a field and walked into it, it was high enough to hide in as Frisk looked up on top of the ledge and saw a woman in a steel armor suit and Papyrus going to her.

"H-Hello Undyne! I'm here with my daily report....regarding the human I called you about earlier....huh?....did I fight them?...Y-Yes of course I did!..Did...Did I capture them...w-w-well...no I didn't...."

After the report Papyrus left and Frisk moved again and the woman snapped to attention and looked down into the field. Before stepping closer to it and preparing to throw a spear before looking back and forth and putting the spear away when she doesn't see Frisk.

Frisk exits the tall field when Undyne leaves and continues walking through. When Frisk got to a river waterfall that they couldn't cross they walked over to it before walking back to the small dead end hall that was previously empty before noticing it filled with four flower stepping pieces.

Chara smiled as they sat on top of the wall of the hall and watched Frisk pick up the flower pieces and drifted them into the water to cross. When the last one touched the other it becomes a stable flower block path that Frisk crosses to the other side as Chara follows behind them.

As Frisk got to another place where they couldn't pass because of the water Chara set four more plant pieces down for Frisk to use. After some time Frisk got the puzzle by alighting them with part of the waterfall and crossing.

After walking through a hall that connected to a place that looked like a dock. While Frisk read the writings in the wall about why humans were afraid of monsters due to them being more powerful if they ate a human soul, Chara put a small boat on the end of the dock for Frisk to cross the waters with.

Frisk took the boat and sailed across to the other side, where there was another dock. And as Frisk walked across it suddenly a spear was thrown and landed just in front of Frisk when they were about to step there.

The woman in the armor, Undyne, appeared on the side of the dock and launched spear after spear at Frisk. After Frisk narrowly escaped the dock and Undyne they ran into a larger field than the last one, completely hidden once more. As Undyne followed them and stabbed her hand into something before pulling it over the tall grass so she could see what she had stabbed her hand through. When Undyne lifted it to where she could see, she saw that she had stabbed through a monster's eye. She lowered the monster back down, let go of it, and left.

Frisk let out go of their breath that they didn't know they were holding and continued on.
