Fernando is propped up against a wooden telephone post as I let Kang's men punch him repeatedly in his stomach, face and chest. Blood splatters onto the ground a few times and even hits the bottom of my shoe. I sit with my legs crossed as I watch him beg for mercy. Something I've never done only to piss him off when he wanted it so badly to come out my mouth. Tilting my head to the side I see him ready to pass out and stop the men from giving him another blow to the face. Standing and holding his bloody face he pleads again until I tell him to quiet down while seeing the bruises form more as I keep seeing the amount of damage down.

"What do you think Donnie is feeling in hell right now? Do you think they're doing the same thing he's done while he was living on earth? I mean I'm really curious. Aren't you?"

Fernando coughs up blood letting it spray onto my face now angry that I would bring such a thing up to him.

"Woah," I chuckle, wiping my face smiling. "Hurts talking about someone that's dead isn't it?" Grinning at him he licks his lips tasting his own blood. "What do you get out of keeping me like this princesa?" I shrug, "What feeling did you get when roles were reversed Fernando? I mean you kept me like this for months. Was it liberating, exciting, intoxicating, for the hell of it? Like I really would like to know." Slowly shaking his head he laughs low. "Petty revenge is what fueled this escapade? You? With the one and only Lee son?" He coughs again. "Marriage right? Stupid plan princesa. You're not wife material. You're more like a toy they'll gladly play with then kill just to gain what you built with their help." Tired of hearing him speak I grab the jug of bleach pouring it into his mouth hearing him gurgle with pain.

"I never asked for your opinion."

Slamming the jug down he coughs continuously while heaving but I walk out leaving in the car that's been parked where I ordered it to be.

Arriving in front of Kang's house instead of the one he gave to me, his men come out and greet me while letting me inside.

Kang, just getting out of "I'm all in," I breathe out only letting the words Fernando said get to me when I should've blocked it. But I never signed up to be the hero and started to actually feel like the villain instead. I'm always chasing and running from a devil I should have boxed away forever. Letting his words still dig into me as if he's the one still holding me captive is what's really messing with my head. I thought I could do it...I thought I could do what he did to me with little to no conscience intact.

Kang can see the confliction I'm having and goes and gets dressed coming back out with a pillow and blanket.

"You can sleep in there and I'll take the couch."

Numbing myself for a long time all I want to do is feel...but for right now I wait until he gets ready to lay down and go into his room. Wanting to shower and wash Fernando's blood off me, I step into the shower itself and a stream of warm water hits my face. I find the soap and spread it across my face and body then let the water take away the residue of what's left. After getting out and drying off I go back into Kang's living room and he's laid out with his arms behind his head looking up at the ceiling. Making my presence known he looks over and sits up a bit making sure I'm okay and when I nod but walk over to him he sits up more.the shower, walks out in only a towel and his hair dripping wet.

"I didn't know you were coming over, I was waiting for your ca-" I cut him off by kissing his lips and tearing my own jacket off leaving it on the floor. He grabs me close and returns the kiss but then stops me breathing a little bit quicker than when I walked in. "What does this mean," he asks seriously before he could release the intimacy he's been holding onto trying to turn down the hunger he has to be seen, touched and loved by me.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

I've had enough of not having a say for myself truly and let go of the invisible chains holding me back. If I couldn't love who I wanted due to shitty life choices, then I'll take this chance to make the best out of it. I slowly climb onto his lap and wrap my arms behind his neck already feeling his arms wrap around my waist. God knows this will change things drastically and make complications that can't be undone, but It's something I can control. I lean down and place my lips on his and he kisses back ready to deepen it but restrains himself. "You're messing with my head Aleya," he says low, looking into my eyes wanting to know what I was truly feeling but knowing how to hide my true emotions, makes it harder for him to get a clear answer.

"I won't run away, I'll embrace it all under one condition," I say, still having my arms behind his neck.

"Name it."

Ready to say it, one of his men interrupt and I move to the side covering my bare legs with the blanket he had on him.
