Rayne helps Pito carry me inside the house I sent them to and the owner makes sure to take me in but having them leave for safety purposes.

"What do you mean we can't go in with her!" Pito shouts fighting the men guarding the door.

"She's under our care now. There will be somebody who will contact you. Please go quietly."

Leo and Xavier take Pito back to the car but Rayne keeps his distance asking, "Who are you people?"

The man leans into his ear saying, "Scurry on home."

Rayne raises his hands up nodding leaving while the man urges his men to go inside and keep watch as others come out to guard the house entirely.

Sweating profusely, I wake to seeing my side already bandaged with fresh clothing to the side of me.

Standing I move the curtains gaining more privacy changing.

I hear footsteps opening the curtains seeing the person that's been standing by until now.

"Took you long enough." I grumble out walking towards them.

"You're lucky we even made it there on time. That place was hard to get too."

"I know Misty is the rat and Tobias is still around helping."

The person lets out a low whistle shaking their head in disappointment.

"You owe me ten bucks."

I punch their shoulder and they raise their hands smiling.

"You should have listened to me. I didn't trust her plan on getting you out back then. If my people didn't step in you would've died."

Heavily sighing I nod, "But thank god I trusted my own gut and went with yours making her believe it was her doing," getting a cup and the bottle of whiskey I poured a glass for me and them. "But you still had faith that she was on your side, right?" I hand them the glass downing mine leaning on the counter. "I already cleared my doubts and know what has to be done, good shot by the way." They snicker while taking a sip from their glass but puts it down seeing me wincing holding my side. "You should sit down until the stitches fully heal," helping me to the couch I grunt in discomfort and they signal their men to get me some pain meds and food.

"Make sure it's not those cheap ass placebos."

I say disregarding their concern for me while raising my glass to the men who go and get the medication.

I lean back on the couch swishing the dark liquor back and forth inside the glass cup, holding my head looking at my secret alliance, "I would say we have a few days until Fernando comes back for me unless I make it look like I died from the gunshot he gave me," their eyes hold onto mine with conflicted emotions on my idea but says, "How do you want it done? Whole funeral? News stations broadcasting the devastating news?" Leaning forward I place the cup down looking up to them,"There's something else," I take a deep breath in and wearily let it out, "Rayne Evans sister got put into this devil's trap and I need you to ensure me that once I go ghost completely, you'll make sure him and his sister get what they need." Sucking in air they take a minute but nod, "I'll make sure everything is handled." Standing, I walk to their balcony leaning on the railing, liking the breeze that's passing through.

"When you approach the guys, make sure to go easy on them."

I close my eyes taking in the last breath of freedom before I fully commit to the vengeance I promised myself.

"I'll take the passage way we talked about and you can start getting a handle on things," I turn patting their back and they look to me with sympathy knowing, now I'm on the way to a path I can't come back from.

"If you make it back in one piece you owe me a huge celebratory drink."

Smiling, I give them a thumbs up then duck down to their underground garage, taking their car and leaving without actually saying goodbye.

"Breaking news! We all knew of gangs before right? But mafias are another thing, don't you think Tom?"

"Oh, I believe it. But hold onto your chairs because this story will have a whole bunch of twists and turns you'll never believe."

People gather around where there was a t.v nearby just to see the portrait of my family and a portrait of me wondering who we were.

"These two families, one being the Rojas and the other being the Ortiz's, were at war and killed in cold blood, passing everything on to their youngest and only child Aleya Rojas. While she kept the family business intact, she also gave to shelters and orphanages to prove she wasn't like the other families out there importing illegal substance across the borders."

"So she was an angel in disguise?"

Murmuring is heard throughout the sidewalks, cafes, stores, all over.

"That's the thing, Fernando Ortiz, the man in charge of the Ortiz family, was gifted an Angel Trumpet right after Ms. Rojas was found."

"Wait Mr. Ortiz had something to do with Aleya's death?"

The news anchor chuckles, "That's just it, Fernando believes Aleya Rojas is still alive taunting him."

"Why?"

The news anchor looks into the camera and says, "He's afraid she might be the one to cause his death."

Pito tying his neck tie, getting ready to attend my funeral, turns the t.v off and looks at a picture taped on his dresser door with all of us including Tobias and Misty, with flared nostrils and watery eyes. Leo walks in with raccoon like eyes from lack of sleep and grief asking Pito what they should do about the catering. "Did Xavier forget to call them?" Pito asks, but Leo just shrugs so out of it that Pito just nods, "I'll call." Leo walks out of the room while heading downstairs where everyone was gathered, dressed in all black suits. "Everyone ready?" Pito says walking down towards them.

They all nod and they head out to where my memorial service is being done.

Xavier is there already with his hands in his pockets, silently looking at the casket with my body lying inside.

"Xavier," Leo hugs him then looks over to the casket too.

"Is she really gone?"

Xavier squeezes his shoulder, "She's gone."

For Aleya's secret alliance I'm putting a face to him but the name is not yet going to be said until she is actually back or actually dead.
