My heel lightly touches the floor
As I walk down the endless tunnel,
Screaming for help wherever my voice gets lost,
And running away from the loud distant voices
That only get closer and closer.
But then,
A gust of breeze,
Strong enough to knock me out,
Appears out of nowhere,
Sending dust flying around me,
Making me clamp my mouth
Until it stops.
And then...
Silence.
Chills run up and down my spine
As if someone I've been waiting for
Has finally arrived
And although I look back to only see darkness,
Darkness against darkness,
It has come.
It has come to take me away
At last.
