Under the grey winter sky,
I sit alone looking out the window.
The cold air sends shivers
As the window mists up.
Everything is a blur.
My hands wipe down the windows
But the mist doesn't disappear
But it's enough to see
The World that's passing by quickly.
I want to absorb it all,
Everything that's out there
But I can't keep up.
As I look out the window,
Everything stays still inside
And the World runs swiftly outside.
The Outside becomes blurrier and blurrier
And I can only stare for an endless time
At the sprinting world as I stay where I am.
