The burden I carry on
My shoulders
Weighs me down
To the point that I despair hope
Yet, I keep walking...
Trudging with every step I take
Even though...
Why?
What's the point of it all?
I don't know and neither will you
But I'll keep walking until
I can't...
When my body fades away
And when my shoulders give away
I'll let it fall and I'll disappear
I'll let me fly and I'll disappear
And all that will be left is the burden...
And I'll keep hoping...
Even from up there,
That the burden I've pushed
Into the darkest shadows
Will never be found
And even if it is,
I'll hope it won't be touched,
Hope it won't be picked up,
And hope it'll stay there forever
Rotting away with the rest of that musty darkness
Never to be seen again
And slowly, it will too...
Just like me
Never to be seen again...
Disappea'...
