As I look out the window,
I can only wish,
Wish to run amongst
The clouds and feel so free
But they are so far away.
The distance keeps growing as I
Fall deeper into my Tartarus
And the sky grows smaller
And smaller and
Smaller.
I'm falling and falling
And continue falling
Into the depths of this darkness
That grabs ahold of me before I
Can even move a muscle
To free myself.
The distance grows and grows
But I don't know how to
Reach up to the sky
Where I can run amongst the clouds
Because I can't.
I can only fall
Deeper, deeper, and deeper
Into this murky pit.
What can I do to escape
These bonds?
What can I do to reach
The sky that I long for?
I don't know.
I really don't know.
But I know that
I will keep falling
Deeper into the depths
Of this evil Thing.
But don't worry,
Because as hopeless
As it seems,
To you and me,
I'm not disappearing.
Yet.
