(This is the edited version)

My name is Gianna Blackwood, fifteen-years-old. I have two parents who love me and a black cat named Ash. I've been attending Hogwarts for four years and my house is Ravenclaw. My best friends are Cho and Athena.I was sitting on the train to Hogwarts, I had been looking out for this moment the whole week. I'd definitely miss home, but Hogwarts was also a kind of home. All the homework and tests weren't that exciting but I couldn't wait to use magic and fly again.

"My dad told me something and you guys have to hear it!" Cho Chang begon.

"Spill!" Athena Snow said over excited.

The three of us have been friends since first year when we met. Cho and Athena go way back, being wizard families. But together we form a great team of friends.
Cho is very observant but can be a bit of a gossiper. She knows everyone's business and doesn't mind sharing it with Athena and me. Somehow everyone seems to trust her and they quickly slip up and reveal secrets. It's almost scary how good Cho can manipulate.
Athena is a bit of a wild girl. She carries more energy than a store full of batteries. Boys are her main obsession and that is well known, luckily she doesn't throw away her self worth. Athena is the most confident girl I know.
Of the three of us I'm probably the most typical Ravenclaw. I can be a bookworm but that shouldn't be mistaken for being boring. Naturally I'm a very curious person, whether it's about learning magic or people.
Together we balance each other well and we have been doing for over four years.

"Don't get too excited yet. All he said was that there's this new boy coming to Hogwarts." Cho continued.

"How is that not exciting?"

I chuckled  at that response, Athena was alway too busy with boys. I wouldn't be surprised if she'd put any boy before me. It was a bit concerning at this point, seeing that people only got hurt in the process. Not Athena though, she had her heart locked away safely.

"Well...it's his son." Cho said with a trace of fear and disgust in her voice.

Voldemort's son?

"The son of who shall not be named?" Athena asked in shock, her voice dropping in a dramatic manner. "Nevermind then." She quickly corrected, clearly disappointed and a bit horrified.

"Why is he suddenly coming now?" I asked curious.

"I don't know. Why is he coming at all?"

"What if he's here to help his father?" Athena asked, her eyes widened in fear as she made up that conspiracy.

"I don't th-" I wanted to start but got cut off.

"What if he kills us?!" Cho added.

"But we still have so much to do!"

Athena and Cho began rambling about all the stuff that they would miss. After hearing hundreds of things, I eventually became sick of their dramatic response so I went to go to the 'toilet'. Obviously I understood their worries, but I trusted Dumbledore's judgement. If he thought Voldermort's son was fit for Hogwarts, I trusted it.

I went through multiple coupes. Saying 'sorry' or 'excuse me' now and then when I needed space or interrupted a conversation. It was very awkward, probably because I made it awkward, and I hated every second of it. As I walked into a new coupe, I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Sorry." I apologized, my cheeks flushing out of embarrassment.

I looked up to  the person who I had bumped into, it was a boy who I had never seen before. The boy had dark curly hair and a scar going from his cheek through his eyebrow. He had brown puppy eyes that lacked emotion, in fact his whole face lacked emotion. On every other face those eyes would have been considered warm and beautiful, but in this case they were almost unsettling. I wanted to say something but without any more words the boy walked away before I had any chance to. It wasn't weird or something, but I at least expected an apology or a 'thank you' back. Just something. I was confused as to why I couldn't recognise the boy. Of course I don't know everyone who attended Hogwarts, but you'd think that I would recognise someone as gorgeous as him. Maybe it was just a boy who got a glow-up over the summer.
After a few more coupes I eventually found one with younger kids, probably first years. They only took up one side of the coupe which was perfect because they wouldn't annoy me and I could have my 'own' space.
I grabbed my headphones and started listening to music. I was grateful for being a muggle at that moment. I will forever thank the person who invented the walkman. With the music shutting out the other sounds, I had a little 'main character' moment. Looking out of the window and thinking.
How would this year go with quidditch, would we actually win something this time? And how about the classes? I'd probably pass them, right? The new boy! Voldemort's son. What would he do? How will he be as a person? I don't think he could be as bad as his father to be honest. Or could he? I'm really curious, but also open minded. Everyone should get a chance right?
