For the first in loads of days I woke up with excitement, it was finally my birthday! When I was ready and left my room I almost tripped over a small pile of presents. Even though I would probably be late, I still went back into my room to open the presents. After I unwrapped them all my floor was filled with wrapping paper, new vinyls, drawing stuff, a silver ring of a moon, sweaters and my favorite; a new broom. I had been begging for the last one nearly the whole summer so seeing it on my bedroom floor was a dream come true. I would definitely send a thank you letter to my parents later this day, but for now I had to hurry up.
"Hey birthday girl! How is it to be 16?" Cho greeted me with a warm hug.
"I feel so much better now, imagine still being 15." I mocked Cho.
"Hahaha." She laughed sarcastically.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" Athena squealed and was quick to embrace me.
"Thank you." I said with a huge grin.
Cho grabbed a present from under the table when the three of us sat down. The present was wrapped in the signature Ravenclaw color blue and it had a big bow on top. Together the girls handed it over to me. When I got rid of the blue wrapping paper a beautiful dark green dress. There was also a bag with loads of candy in it.
"Thank you, this is so sweet. Oh and the dress is beautiful!"
I gave both the girls a big hug.
The whole day different people wished me a happy birthday. Unfortunately some people also chose to sing for me, which was awkward. But I had a lot of fun.
It was after dinner when the three of us, Cho, Athena and I decided to go to the astronomy tower. There we ate cake, talked, talked more and we might have drunk a lot. The alcohol in our sistem made us leave the tower and pull pranks on people. Before I was given a few prank objects by the twins as a gift, which was rather convenient. If I can remember correctly we threw water over Filch, we gave Kai purple hair, we made the stairs down to the Slytherin chambers extremely slippery and probably more but the alcohol made me forget. I do know there was puke laying somewhere, coming from Athena who had been drinking way too much. So all with all, I'd say it was a successful birthday.
The only thing that missed was a certain brown haired boy. I don't know why, I was becoming a little obsessed at this moment. But when someone is so mysterious and beautiful, how can you not. I couldn't blame him though, we barely knew each other, which I was definitely going to change.
