Chapter 16

During dinner Athena en Cho told me all about their practice day. I was a little annoyed about it since I didn't support it, but I put on my poker face and listened to their stories.

"Kai was so hot whilst training, please curse me for not noticing him earlier.."

"Did you see how Cedric helped me?"

"It was so cute!"

"Did you guys even learn something?" I asked.

"Yeah, a bit. By the way, you have to join, the boys are so hot." Athena brushed off my question.

"True! If I didn't have Cedric..." Cho chuckled.

"There's so much food too! Besides that, you're missing class." Athena added to her reasons to join.

Apparently both of the girls had forgotten what the whole point of the group was.

"I still stand by my old decision." I stated.

"Ugh.. you're so boring. Have some fun! We aren't even doing anything against Mattheo, so you're not doing something 'bad'." Athena commented

I nearly questioned Athena's house after hearing this. Besides that I was also questioning her comment. Why was I boring?

"Anyways, I'm going to my dorm, have fun." I said, ignoring Athena's comment.

I wasn't even done eating, but I just took a piece of bread with me. Hungry or not, I wasn't going to sit with them any longer. Maybe I was 'boring' but I wasn't irresponsible and straight up stupid. What were they even doing in Ravenclaw, I guess that they are more book smart than street smart.

As I was walking through the hallways to my dorm I got more and more annoyed. It was to a point where I became angry. Why did they always have to team up against me? What was it that was 'wrong' with me? Also, why did they even hang out with me?
I was fuming. The thoughts of how they treat me clouded my mind.
It was good that I didn't stay at the table, otherwise I would have exploded. It was also good that I arrived at my dorm. The familiar space, my place to be alone, was calming. My anger got a bit less, didn't disappear, but I at least calmed down a bit.
The bed squeaked as a plopped on top of it. With my head laying on the pillow I stared at the ceiling. I tried to think about others things than my friends and our problem. There were tests coming up in a few weeks. I wanted to be as prepared as I could, so I gathered all my energy to get of my bed and walk to my desk. My biggest motivational source was the upcoming Christmas vacation. I couldn't wait for the ball and to see my family again. Since I nearly had vacation I should be able to work hard. After this I could just rest during the vacation. And with that motivation I spend my extra free time learning.
Maybe Athena was right that I was boring.

Like you might have noticed and like I've said, my updates have become way less frequent. The reason for this is that I have started school and I want to make sure I'm not writing shit.
