Hunter was unconscious in the healing homeroom right now.
Well, maybe he was waking up.
"This- this is an illusion! Gus! Are you-" And he fell over.
"Woah! It's okay, try not to stand so fast." Viney said as she and Skara helped him up.
"This isn't an illusion, you're in the healing homeroom." Skara clarified.
"Yeah, Blondie. Chill." You add.
"Well, Mr. Golden Guard." Principal Bump said as he walked up to Hunter.
"Hunter."
"That's the Golden Guard?" Edric questioned.
"Dude looks sickly." Emira muttered. You laughed, watching Matt squint at him from across the room.
"I could probably take him." Matt added.
"I'd bet ten snails on that." You whisper to Matt while everyone else talked.
"Deal."
"Maybe we could trade him for Augustus." The illusions teacher was saying. "I'm sure the Emperor will want him back."
That's when Hunter's face went pale. You squinted at him, wondering why he seemed so terrified to be returned to his own coven.. Why he was in Hexside today.
"I'm not lying, Gus was showing me around! I- there was a sandwich, and he showed me this breathing thing." Hunter explained, which seemed to be interesting to Willow. "Please, you gotta believe me."
"He's telling the truth." Willow said, putting a hand on his shoulder and smiling at him. Your stomach felt queasy at that, probably because you were gonna have to fight a coven head in a minute. "And he can help us drive head witch Graye and his scouts out of the school."
"Yes! Um- Graye said he'll be in the gym, but he will be guarded."
"That won't be a problem." Amity stated, standing up. "Willow can bust through anything."
"Yeah," Willow agreed. "But I'll need help." What the hell did you miss?
"Say no more!" Matt announced. "I'm on it!"
"Ugh.." Principal Bump sighed. "Let's just come up with a plan."
"Yes!" Skara exclaimed. "This is my favorite part!"
"Noo." You groaned. "My least favorite part!"

Turns out, all these teenagers really were stronger than emperor's coven scouts. Well, obviously you were. It was strange seeing Hunter fight with his palisman staff though.
"ENOUGH!" One of the guards shouted. "I will not be cowed by a group of students!" He then was hit in the face with vines and goo.
"Then how about just two of us?" Willow mocked him, and she and Amity had their ultra girlboss moment.
"Nice one!" Amity exclaimed. Hunter then ran by them, ruining the girlboss moment. You didn't want to follow them into the gym where Graye was, but you see Amity and Willow fighting one of the Blight's abomatons and decide to help them out.
When the gym finally returns to normal, Hunter and Gus get up, and Amity and Willow seem to share some kind of interesting resolving look.
"Gus!" Willow rushes up to Gus and hugs him the way humans do. "Ohh I'm so glad you're okay!"
"Me too." Gus agrees. You grab Hunter and bring him into a group hug with the four of you.
"Thanks, Hunter." Willow mutters.
"What.. is this?" Hunter asks.
"Just go with it."

"I can't believe you took down a coven head." Amity says to Gus as the coven scouts fly away.
"Have you seen this kid? I can believe it." You shrug.
"Yeah, and I almost went down with him." Gus says.
"Is Graye gonna be alright?" Hunter asks.
"Uhhhh.. probably?" Gus shrugs.
"Hunter!" Skara shouts as a group of students walks up to you guys. "What's going on at the castle?"
"Did you actually leave the emperor's coven?"
"Have you ever sneezed with your mask on?"
"Bark." Barcus adds.
Gus and Hunter look at each other, and Hunter sighs.
"Everyone in the castle is traveling to the head for the day of unity soon. I think I did.. yes?" He looks at Edric.
"Eeeeww." You mutter.
"That's gross, man." Ed agrees.
"Listen, Emperor Belos has been lying to everyone." Hunter ignores him. "The day of Unity isn't about the Titan or magic. It's much scarier than that. Sorry, it's a lot to explain."
"Then you'd better get started."
