"Maybe if I took the wheel.." Hunter said as Amity and Alador fought over how slowly the ship was moving.
"Very eager to return to Belos, eh, Golden Guard?" Alador responded.
"At least I never built him an army!" Hunter shouted.
"Watch your tone with me, young man." The ship bumped slightly, and you groaned, hiding your face in your knees and leaning against the wall.
"Here's a bright idea, don't distract the pilot!" Gus yelled.
"He started it!" Hunter complained. Everybody was fighting, and you lift your head for a second to look at Willow and King, who were sitting sadly the same as you. You gave Willow a 'this sucks' look and then put your head back in your arms. Then, all your palismen brought out a crate of food and you all agreed to just take a minute to sit and eat. You grab a piece of bread and eat it, sharing some with your palisman.
You were almost starting to drift to sleep when Hunter sat down beside you.
"You tired?" He asks quietly.
"Mhm." You nod, but sit up, grateful that he hadn't let you fall asleep before saving Luz.
"You didn't really get much sleep last night."
"Neither did you." You raise your eyebrows at him.
"I'm more used to it than you are." He shrugs.
"And how do you know that?"
"Because I'm not the one half asleep right now." He gives you his dumb 'I know' kind of smile, but it doesn't make you mad this time, it kinda makes you feel all floaty inside. You give him a small, sleepy laugh and lean your head on his shoulder.
"Titan, I can't wait to take the best nap of my life when this is over." You mutter.
"Sound's nice." He sighed.
"Yeah.." You started to let yourself close your eyes before you became enclosed by other airships.
"Your ship has been reported stolen, land immediately." You sit up quickly, glancing at Hunter.
"Mom.." Amity groaned.
