" Do you think this is acceptable." Rihaan whispered to Ayushi, his  warm breath fall against her neck. She gazed at him, her eyes drawn to his lips.

She bit her lip hard and pressed her body against his. "Aren't you going to kiss me?" Rihaan whispered huskily.

Ayushi grabbed his collar and stood on her toes, her eyes filled with a love-induced haze. Their lips were just inches apart.

"Kiss me, my Ayushi."

Suddenly, Ayushi's mom appeared before her.

"Mom, what are you doing here?"

"Get up, idiot."

"Ayushi, wake up, dear. How long are you going to sleep? You will be late."

"Wait, Mom? What were you doing in my dream?"

"I can only be close to him in my dream. And Mom even interrupted me in my dream. This is so wrong."

"Baccha, wake up." Again mom voice come.

"I don't want to wake up, go away," I whined, covering my head with a blanket. I didn't want to see her. I was about to kiss him, my first kiss. I wanted to kiss him.

"What did I do? Wake up, otherwise, you will be late for college," Mom said, placing her hand on me, which I pushed away.

"Ayushi..."

"Don't talk to me. I don't want to go anywhere," I said a little louder, her face immediately changing. Damn, I shouldn't have shouted at her.

"What happened?" Mom asked in a soft tone. I sat down, making the blanket gather my waist.

"I was about to kiss, but you woke me up," I said with a pout. Her eyes sparkled, and she sat beside me like a curious friend.

"Tell me. Who is that person? Tell me his name."

"Mom, no one you know, just some blurry face. Still, I wanted to get a kiss," I said, receiving a slap on my head.

"Get ready."

I sighed as soon as she left and started getting ready.

"Ayushi, please stop playing with your food." Mom's stern words were accompanied by her effortlessly cute demeanor.

I took a deep breath, realizing that I might be getting myself into trouble, but I needed to ask her.

"Mom, do you think I can have a boyfriend?" I asked, and there was a moment of silence.

I locked eyes with mom, but she seemed to be looking past me. I turned around to see dad standing there with an inscrutable expression.

He cleared his throat and took his seat.

"Aashi, my tea?" He asked, as if he hadn't heard anything. However, the way he was looking at me told me otherwise.

"Ayushi, finish your juice too."

I decided to leave it be, thinking that maybe he hadn't heard anything.

I quickly finished my breakfast and sat in the car, waiting for dad to join me.

Ayushi entered the classroom fully prepared and gave a thumbs up to her friends. She clapped her hands excitedly, but her joy was short-lived as Rihaan began his lecture immediately upon entering the class. A pout formed on her lips.

"I came well-prepared, I thought he would praise me," Ayushi said, looking at her notes.

"What an asshole, idiot, nonsense," Ayushi thought, trying to focus in class. However, she soon found herself lost in his eyes.

"Ms. Ayushi," I called out trying to get her attention, but she seemed lost in her own world. If she keep up her behavior then she will be year behind her friends. What got into this girl now a day.

" I think she has lost some brain cells as she grew up, the whole class is empty and this madam didn't even realise it ."

"Ayushi," I called her again.

"Forget it, she can just stay in class. I will complain to her father when he will come here asking for her."

"Ms. Ayushi," I called a little louder and touched her shoulder. Her face jerked towards my hand, causing me to withdraw it.

"Ri... I mean professor," she stammered.

"The class has ended. Don't you want to go home?" I asked. She gulped and shook her head.

"No," I asked to confirm.

"I mean yes, I have to go home, but I have some doubts," she said, and I looked at her notes. She wasn't attentive again today. She never pays attention in class. How is she going to pass like this?

"Ms. Ayushi, I wasn't teaching this topic today," I said with a concerned voice. She looked down at her notes and closed them.

"I want to ask you about yesterday's topic," she said, and i nodded, telling her to continue.

But as she flipped through some pages, i looked at them. She pointed her finger at an easy topic. I had some time, so i could explain it to her.

"Okay, listen carefully," I said, starting to explain the topic to her. However, once again, she lost her focus.

"Ms. Ayushi..."

"What are you doing here, Ayushi? I was waiting for you," a voice interrupted us

I turned towards the voice and saw Dr. Ayaan standing there.

"Sir, I was just helping her with a topic. She is free to go. She is lost in her thoughts. She never listens to anything; she just stays in her dream world," I said in a defeated voice.

" Sorry to say it but if she keep up like this then she will not be able to pass. She has to atleast try. She is so focused in her dream world. Today also she doesn't even know which topic I taught. What I'm supposed to do in this case. She can simply skip class and think about who ever she think out of the class. No one want to teach uninterested student. " I said and pick her book and open the topic I taught.

" You should ask her some question from this topic. You can ask right now. I just taught them some minutes ago. " I said and silently stood there.

Ayushi eyes were wide open. Sorry Ayushi but it's all for you. I know how you took your failure. And if you don't concentrate you are going to face it again.

If I hide this from your father who can guide you then I will be doing sinful mistake. I never confess my liking for you so you can just focus on yourself.

And now seeing you this distracted make me want to confront you because I had to suppress my feelings so you can achieve your dream and here you are wasting  your time in day dreaming .

Sir flip through pages and asked her a question . She looked down exactly she doesn't even know what I taught today.

" Ok tell me the topic name " He asked and his voice come out so stern. That make me feel bad for her.

But pushing it aside I left them alone. It's better to get scold alone rather than some person around you.
