"Dad, I really don't want to go to boarding school." Aryan said, rubbing his eyes.

Ayaan continued to look at his phone, ignoring Aryan's plea. Aryan then held Ayaan's hand and hugged him.

"Dad, please," he said, giving Ayaan puppy eyes. Aashika smiled, but when Ayaan glared at her, she put on a neutral expression and continued watching TV.

"Daddy, please," Aryan said again as he sat on Ayaan's lap.

"I warned you about fighting. Now you're going to boarding school. That's my final decision," Ayaan said firmly.

Aryan sobbed, causing Ayaan to stop and look at him.

"I won't fight. You can punish me, but don't send me away," Aryan pleaded.

When Ayaan didn't respond, Aryan pouted and lay over his knees.

"You can spank me like you used to when I was a kid, but please don't send me away," Aryan continued.

Ayaan sighed and looked at Aashika.

"Daddy, I'm not leaving this house," Aryan insisted.

"You're going to boarding school, and that's final. I don't want to talk to you right now. You fought with that boy again? I told you not to fight, to control your anger, but no. Now you're going to boarding school. Neither me nor your mom will come to see you. You've become such a naughty kid," Ayaan scolded, trying to push Aryan off his lap.

"If you don't get up, I'm actually going to smack you," Ayaan threatened.

But Aryan didn't budge. He held onto Ayaan's legs tightly.

"I don't want to go. You can punish me every time I fight, but please don't send me to boarding school," Aryan said, unknowingly biting Ayaan's legs.

"Aryan, get up right now," Ayaan demanded.

Aryan shook his head.

"I don't want to go to boarding school," he repeated.

Ayaan closed his eyes and smacked Aryan. Aryan winced but remained in place.

Ayaan said angrily, "Are you getting up or not? Feel some shame, Aryan. Aren't you embarrassed that you are laying over my knees waiting for me to smack you?"

"Papa, I don't want to go," he said, pouting.

"You are going to an army school, that's it."

Aryan stood up from his lap and went towards his mother.

"Mumma, you go to your room," he said, Aashika looked at him confused.

"Why?"

"I wanna talk to dad personally," he said. Aashika nodded her head but instead of going to her room, she actually peeked from behind the wall.

Aryan scratched his head, removing his shorts.

"I don't wanna go. You can punish me like you used to do when I was a baby. Consider me as a baby and don't send me away," he said, and again put himself over Ayaan's lap.

"Aryan, stand up right now. I'm not going to do anything. You choose to fight, right? Why will you listen to me? You are going to boarding school, that's it."

Aryan started sobbing, thinking about the boarding school.

"Daddy, you don't love me."

"Yes, I don't. Now get up," Ayaan said sternly. Instead of Ayaan, Daksh's arm held Aryan and pulled him.

"You realized your mistake, right? Go put your nose in the corner," Daksh said, looking at Aryan who put his hand in front trying to hide his naked self. He attempted to grab his shorts, but Daksh turned him around and patted his backside.

"Go stand in the corner and reflect on your actions," Daksh instructed.

Aryan sought help from Ayaan, but when none came, he reluctantly moved to the corner.

"Aashika, please stop hiding," Ayaan muttered. Aashika silently made her way to the kitchen.

"Why did you allow Ayushi to spend the night at her friend's place?" Daksh questioned.

Confused, Ayaan looked at Daksh. "I never gave her permission. Aashika, did you allow Ayushi to go?"

Aashika nodded slowly. "You shouldn't have, beta, It's not a good habit. She's at her friend's place again today," Daksh scolded.

"I'll talk to her. It's so difficult to raise kids; they never listen to me, Daksh. I can discipline Aryan, but do you think Ayushi is at an age where I should scold her? This mother-daughter duo just make decisions on their own," Ayaan lamented.

"Don't send Aryan to boarding school. He's a good boy. Here, fill out this form. Let him finish this year and enroll him in a military school, not a boarding one. It will help improve his behavior," Daksh suggested. Aashika's eyes lit up with gratitude as she embraced Daksh and took the form from Ayaan.

"Thank you, bhaiya," she said.

"Let things be for now, but if they misbehave again, let me know. I'll handle it," Daksh assured.

"Take them both with you. Just don't spoil them like you did with Khushi," Ayaan said, feeling exasperated.
