Ayushi quietly entered her parents' room in the dead of night. She watched them peacefully sleeping, wrapped in each other's arms, and let out a sigh. She approached her father's side and lay down beside him.

Ayaan woke up immediately, sensing someone lying next to him. "What's the matter?" he mumbled sleepily. Ayushi just burst into tears. He turned towards her, wiping away her tears.

"Why are you here? Doesn't Rihaan know how to climb? He can come into your room through the window too," Ayaan said as Ayushi continued to cry, her breathing becoming irregular.

Ayaan quickly opened his eyes and turned on the lights. "Calm down," he said, rubbing her back. He handed her a glass of water, and she took a few sips before looking at him, tears still streaming down her face.

"Why aren't you sleeping in your room?" Ayaan inquired.

"I'm sorry, Dad," Ayushi said, hugging him tightly and refusing to let go. Ayaan frowned, feeling her high temperature.

"Sorry doesn't change anything... You know, my friend's daughter also got physical with her boyfriend. That girl ended up pregnant because of it. Ayushi, that girl suffered more than the boy. Your mom and I are not your enemies. You are a part of us, and we can't bear to see you in trouble. You made a mistake, you should accept it. Instead, you're justifying yourself and talking back. Sleep now, we'll talk in the morning," Ayaan murmured, making some space between Aashika and himself.

Without saying another word, Ayushi lay down between her parents. She continued to hiccup and tears kept rolling down her cheeks.

Aashika turned on the lights and looked at her daughter with sleepy eyes. "What's wrong, sona?" she asked in her drowsy voice. The endearing term 'sona' caused Ayushi to cry even louder.

You both completely ignored me before, and now you act as if nothing happened. It has been a week since either of you have spoken to me properly. But now you are calling me 'sona'. Ayushi cried even more.

Aashika placed her hand on Ayushi's forehead. After feeling her temperature, she got up from the bed and handed Ayaan his thermometer.

Once again, Ayushi was upset by her cold behavior.

She spat out the thermometer onto the floor. Aashika gave her a stern look, but then lay down, ignoring Ayushi, which only made her more upset.

"Who does this?" Ayaan whispered to himself as he checked the thermometer.

"It still took your temperature. How did you suddenly fall sick?" Ayaan asked, confused, while looking for medicine.

"Because of all of you. I promise I won't do anything until marriage. Stop ignoring me. Why are you all being so mean to me?" Ayushi exclaimed.

"Take this medicine and go to sleep quietly. If your fever goes up, I will have to give you an injection, which will give you another reason to be upset," Ayaan scolded as he handed her the medicine. She threw it away as well and lay down, hugging Aashika, who turned her back to her daughter.

"Even Rihaan's mother isn't upset, but you two... You keep ignoring me," Ayushi muttered.

"Good night," Ayaan mumbled as he lay down next to her.

AYUSHI'S P.O.V

"Ma'am, do you know where Rihaan sir is?" I asked, feeling worried. He hasn't replied to my texts, and he isn't answering his phone.

"You don't have to be so formal, beta. Rihaan is in the hospital room. Someone attacked him in the middle of the road, and since it wasn't busy, no one knows what happened to him. I'm going to file a complaint regarding this matter. I don't know why Rihaan doesn't want me to do it but I'm not going to slip this matter. And you know we have an appointment again right? Next week....it's your physical examination. I've never done it before because your parents wanted it to be done after your marriage..bug since you have intercourse then we can do it. "
