Uncanny Counter (Season 2)

Chapter 1

I was on my set of True Beauty, and Oppa had messaged me that he had a blind date near my filming set. It had been some time since I hadn't met my brother. I decided to surprise him after I was done with my scene. I asked my manager to let me visit my brother and since he was nearby they let me go on my own. It's very hard for an actress to be able to go somewhere without their manager or assistant following them. 

Oppa can be a little dumb sometimes but he is very kindhearted. He wanted to look after the farm so he stayed behind while he supported me to follow my dreams. When I saw him running in front of a vehicle; I couldn't just stand still so I decided to save my brother. 

I thought I was sleeping, but I heard someone calling out my name. I opened my eyes and I saw I was sitting on a bench beside my brother and an old lady. Oppa yelled 'Na Sua, what are you doing here? You are not supposed to be here.' I hit my brother and said 'Yah! Jeok-Bong; What were you thinking jumping in front of a van? I was so scared.' The old lady then said 'Miss. Na Sua; I was just explaining to Mr. Jeok-Bong about being a counter. You both are in a coma right now and if you want to live again then you both have to be counter.' I then asked 'What is a counter?' She then said 'Counter are people who save humankind from evil spirits. These spirits eat people's souls.' I then asked 'Did my brother agree?'

I was waiting in the stadium for my partner. While I was waiting for them, I was having my little concert. Since I was little I always wanted to perform on big stages and be known everywhere. I think it was because Mom and Dad mostly gave their attention to oppa. I wanted to be seen as well. During my school days; I learned about acting and singing and being famous. I saw myself on stage getting an award and everyone looking at me. The first time I was on stage was when I sang in front of the entire school and parents. It was a music fest, the feeling I felt at that moment was not that special. But after my show, my parents hadn't arrived yet so I was just sitting on my own watching other kids with their parents. Then an old man comes; gives me a chocolate bar and says 'I loved your performance.' I didn't know the man but those four words made a huge difference in my life. I went from wanting my parent's attention to finding what I love to do and getting the attention I wanted healthily at the same time. After that, I got into singing and soon acting as well. My parents expected me to take over the farm but I rebelled and Jeok-Bong decided to take over while I got to follow my dreams. Just then the doors of the stadium opened and a guy walked down towards me. While he was coming down the stairs he said 'Do you want to be a counter? Have you decided yet?' I replied 'I was shooting for my big acting break. I can't just die; I NEED TO RETURN.' He finally came into the light and said 'Ok then, I am Do Min-Joon also your Yung partner from now onwards.' 

I opened my eyes and I was in the hospital, Jeok-Bong and a guy were standing in front of me. Oppa came near me and asked 'Sua, how you are feeling? Are you okay?' I nodded and asked 'Oppa are you a counter now?' He nodded. The other guy then said 'Come on, I will take you both somewhere.' We arrived at a place, it was called 'Eunnie's Noodles.' Oppa was introducing himself while I looked around. Everyone looked friendly. The old lady Chu Mae-Ok was happy to see us as well as the old man and also the guy who looked my age. There was another girl as well; she was probably older than me. She looked curious more than happy. The old man thought my brother could easily defeat evil spirits if only he knew. Oppa has always been a kind-hearted person but when his classmates bullied him during our school days; I would be the one looking out for him. The young guy said 'Hello, I am So Mun. I'll consider you as my big brother from now on.' While those two shook hands, I said 'Hello, I am Na Sua. His younger sister. I am also a counter.' Mae-Ok then said 'Oh! I think I know you.' I smiled at her then So Mun said 'You do look familiar.' Jeok-Bong then said 'Oh! Sua is an actress. you probably know her from T.V.' I just smiled. All of them realized it after he mentioned me being an actress. So Mun then said 'Wow, I am not the youngest anymore.' Everyone went their own way and Mo-Tak was briefing us about what we were going to do next. I realized oppa was looking at the girl who was sweeping, I lightly pulled on his clothes to make sure he listened to Mo-Tak. Mo-Tak then introduced us to Do Hana. Mo-Tak then said 'Since Jeok-Bong and Hana are the same age. Hana will be his mentor and So Mun will be Sua's mentor.' I looked at So Mun and smiled then the next thing, I heard was my brother screaming in pain.
