Chapter 11

I said 'He is trying to rile up Ma Ju-Seok.' 

Jang Mul was not with us today and we would not fit inside the little jeep. I was going to use my motorbike to get to our destination. On the way, we got stuck in the traffic. I stopped beside the jeep, Oppa had his nose out but couldn't smell anything. Then all of a sudden he closed the window and it looked like he was in pain he yelled 'I can't breathe.' So Mun ran out of the jeep, I followed him with my motorbike, and I yelled 'So Mun, sit at the back.' He sat behind me and I drove between cars and got outside the building. 

We saw the ambulance taking away Hwang Pil-Gwang's body. I said 'Ma Ju-Seok killed Hwang Pil-Gwang after all.' So Mun added ' That evil spirit. That bastard provoked Mr. Ma.'

We were having a meeting in Yung place. Wi-Gen said 'Hwang Pil-Gwang didn't die. He sacrificed his body to enter Ma Ju-Seok's. He took control of Ma Ju-Seok's power.' So Mun asked 'What about Ma Ju-Seok?' She replied 'Ma Ju-Seok's soul has been consumed by Hwang Pil-Gwang's evil spirit.' Hana added 'So he has the body of Ma Ju-Seok but the soul of Hwang Pil-Gwang. That's what the Yung people call--' Gi-Ran interrupted saying 'A completely evil spirit. That's what he has become now.' Mo-Tak looked frustrated and asked 'Hold on. What exactly is a completely evil spirit? How strong is he exactly?' Jeok-Bong who had his head down looking traumatized just because of the smell said 'That smell...That was; How do I put it? The smell was so strong. I couldn't even breathe.' The little boy U-Sik said 'Not only can the evil spirit use the power of the territory, but it can also hide itself in it.' Hana asked 'Does that mean we can't catch it with the territory?' Wi-Gen said 'What's even more dangerous is that a completely evil spirit can find the counters through the territory.' Mae-Ok said 'That means...they're no longer the ones who need to avoid the territory. It's us.' Su-Ho added 'Unless you're fully prepared...' Min-Joon interrupted him saying 'The territory is now dangerous.' I then asked 'If we can't use the territory, is there another way? There must be another way to summon it.' 

Wi-Gen replied 'Summoning is meaningless now.' So-Mun asked 'What do you mean?' She replied 'For the Yung, there's only one rule regarding a completely evil spirit. He should be...eliminated.' So-Mun stood up saying 'You want us to kill him? Wi-Gen!' She stood up saying 'Now that a completely evil spirit has emerged, things have changed completely. The Yung is not ordering to summon the completely evil spirit. Your order is to eliminate him.'

Even Jang-Mul couldn't believe the elimination of the completely evil spirit when we told him. The question was what would happen to the spirits. Mae-Ok said 'I promised Ms. So that I'd save Papa. Who knew I wouldn't be able to keep my word?' So Mun said 'Ma Ju-Seok only killed Mr.Park and Hwang Pil-Gwang. But the problem is Hwang Pil-Gwang. He took too many innocent lives. We can't do this. Our job isn't only to catch evil spirits. It's also to return the trapped innocent souls back to Yung.' Mo-Tak replied 'You're right. That is our job as well. But Ma Ju-Seok right now...No Hwang Pil-Gwang, if we fail to stop him; there will be more innocent victims. That's the truth.' Hana added 'That's right. The hell Hwang Pil-Gwang created has already begun. Those at the broadcasting station and many other innocent people have already become his victims.' So Mun replied 'Yes, we must stop Hwang Pil-Gwang at all costs. But maybe there's another way. We should try our best to save those souls inside him.' Mo-Tak said 'Another way? Do you really believe that? Trying to persuade Ma Ju-Seok was our last chance to summon him. However, we failed to do that. It's a pity for all those trapped souls but we can't take any more risks.' So-Mun asked 'Are you seriously giving up on trying to summon him?' Mo-Tak stood up and yelled 'So Mun-ah! We're not giving up. This is a choice! It's also our job to prepare ourselves for the worst.'

Late at night, I texted So-Mun to come to my room. He came after some time and sat on my bed. I sat beside him under the sheets. He said 'What are we going to do? Do they really want us to eliminate Hwang Pil-Gwang? Did you see how Mo-Tak hyung yelled at me?' I replied 'Calm down So Mun, we always come up with good ideas, don't we? We can think of something this time as well.' He looked at me and said 'What am I going to do about others? Mo-Tak hyung doesn't even want to think about it.' I replied 'So Mun you need to know that Mo-Tak sunbae also knew Mr. Ma on the same level as you do. He is also worried and he doesn't want more victims. He thinks if elimination is the only way then so be it. He needs time just as you need time to think and take it all in right now. If only we could fight with Hwang Pil-Gwang and not Ma Ju-Seok.'

I was with the others; when we got the message that Mo-Tak was in trouble. We came to our hideout looking for him. He was getting guns and bullets in a hurry. We asked what had happened and he said 'I ran into Ma Ju-Seok.' Mae-Ok wanted to heal him but he was planning on going for a fight. So Mun tried to stop him but he walked past him. So Mun yelled 'Don't do this. We still have a chance.' Mo-Tak turned around and asked 'A chance?' So Mun said 'I definitely heard him today. Mr. Ma's conscience was still inside him. It was definitely his voice. He saved me from Hwang Pil-Gwang, so we still have a chance. We can summon him and save everyone. You might've gotten out of there because Mr. Ma helped you.' Mo-Tak then punched So Mun yelling 'That's enough!' I immediately went inside Jeok-Bong's shadow and transferred into Mo-Tak's to control him. I had control over his body but he could still speak. He yelled 'Please, just stop!  Are you still determined to save him? Do you know what that evil spirit has done, you bastard?' So Mun stood up saying 'We must save him. Why are you giving up when there's a way? We can summon him and save everyone!' So Mun was walking towards Mo-Tak, I walked back to avoid him while Oppa caught So Mun and pulled him back saying 'Why are you fighting? Fight the evil spirits, not each other!' Mo-Tak yelled 'Han-Ul! Han-Ul...died. That scumbag killed Han-Ul. He didn't even hesitate. He killed Han-Ul as if he was nothing. What more can we do? Why can't you give up? Why? How many more deaths do you need, god damn it! Sua get out of my shadow.' I knew he wouldn't do anything so I got out of his shadow. He walked towards So Mun but I stood between them, Mo-Tak said 'I will do it my way.' He then walked away and Hana Unnie followed him.                 

The next day, I went with So Mun to visit Ma Ju-Seok's mother. I didn't go with him to talk but I was waiting for him inside the building. Soon after he was done talking with her, he took her to her room. He came and sat beside me, he buried his head in my shoulder and cried. I didn't say anything, I just patted his head as he cried his feelings out. We were on our way back when we heard Oppa say 'Not there...Here!' Hana said 'Ma Ju-Seok is at our hideout.' I didn't need another confirmation, I started running while So Mun followed behind.

When we got to our hideout Hwang Pil-Gwang had my brother by his neck. I yelled 'Yah! Let my Oppa go.' He looked towards us and So Mun said 'I'm the one you want, so let him go.' Pil-Gwang pushed Oppa aside with his powers. I went to look after Oppa while So Mun went to fight with Hwang Pil-Gwang. So Mun said 'You don't belong here. And that body doesn't belong to you either.' Pil-Gwang said 'I was expecting to find that territory. Where could it be? Are you not summoning it in case I grow stronger?' So Mun replied 'There's no territory for you, you bastard!' 

So Mun punched Pil-Gwang back to the wall. Pil-Gwang pulled himself back together and said 'You're wrong. Your territory, this body, and even your power belong to me now.' They fought in the fighting rink but So Mun was thrown back by Pil-Gwang. Seeing this Oppa, Mae-Ok and Jang-Mul pulled themselves together and went to attack Hwang Pil-Gwang but he stopped them with his power. I went to look after So Mun while they distracted him. Hwang Pil-Gwang was choking everyone. I looked and yelled 'No!' and pushed him aside with my powers. So Mun stood up pressed the red button and ran towards the other saying 'Now's the time! Hurry and get out!' I was helping Oppa and Jang-Mul to get out of the place but Ms. Chu was getting pulled by Hwang Pil-Gwang. So Mun took care of him and I waited to pull Ms. Chu out. 

I yelled for So Mun to also get out, I was screaming for him to get out. He said 'I'll end this fight.' I screamed 'No Baby, you can't do it alone.' Suddenly he was pulled back by Hwang Pil-Gwang's power. I said to myself 'Think, Na Sua think!'            

A/N: OMG! I cringe whenever I type "Baby". Guys just know that I am cringing and making faces in every Baby part. I even thought about just addressing So Mun by his name but Baby is just there to make it romantic.
