Uncanny Counter (Season 2)

Chapter 6

So Mun stood up and said 'I begged you to stop. But now, you've left me no choice!.'  

So Mun pushed Mr. Ma from the floor to the ground. Hana came and helped me get out of the metal rod. She was also very injured. She supported me and we were walking out when the woman with the eye patch came in front of us. She had bad timing. She kicked Hana Unnie and pushed me to the wall. She said 'Come on. You're boring me.' She kicked Hana unnie to the edge. I could hear her say she was going to take her eyes. I collected the last of my energy and yelled 'AHHH!' which made the woman fly in another direction. Thankfully others came and helped Hana unnie. I was going to be the one to kill that one-eyed bitch. After others arrived, I passed out and before closing my eyes I saw Hana Unnie passed out as well.

I woke up and walked out of my room. I saw Hana and So Mun talking. I hated the way So Mun was looking at Hana, those eyes. I wanted them to only look at me. Just then Ms. Chu came and she said 'Sua, Hana. Are you okay?' Hana and So Mun turned around and saw me. I looked towards Ms. Chu and said 'I am fine.' Ms. Chu said 'You two should be resting. Sua you had a rod go through you.' I replied 'I feel fine.' So Mun came towards me while Ms. Chu checked on Hana. He asked 'Are you okay? I'm sorry that I failed to do my job properly.' I replied 'Don't worry, I am the one who is not strong enough to fight alongside you.' Jung-Mool came with some food just in time. I looked at So Mun and asked 'Where is Oppa?' 

I was just done eating when oppa arrived. He ran towards me as soon as she saw me. He was crying his eyes out. I said 'Oppa don't cry, I am the one who is hurt.' Oppa replied 'When have you ever cried? You don't cry even when a dog bites your hand and is hanging from your hand.' I nervously laughed saying 'That's because I have high pain tolerance'. After all, now everyone was looking at me with big wide eyes. After he stopped crying, we got back in business. 

Mo-Tak said 'If Ma Ju-Seok continues his pursuit of revenge like Mun said, that means he wants to punish everyone related to the scam.' Hana stood up and went towards the board that we had set up, She said 'They're probably after President Lee Chung-jae. Mr. Hwang and his crew know that Lee Chung-jae is still alive. Plus, Lee took that 120 billion won.' Ms. Chu added 'Just like how Mr. Hwang did with Mr. Park, he'll urge Mr. Ma to kill Lee Chung-jae as well.' Mo-Tak said 'That's why we need to fine Lee first. The lead we have on him is Lim Jae-Youl, number 37 of the Red Roses Gang. I looked into him and...' Oppa interrupted saying 'I was the one who did all the work.' Mo-Tak said 'I was the one who saved your family from going broke.' I looked at Oppa and he put his head down. Oppa then showed us a video and Mo -Tak continued ' The head of the local housing association is working with Lee Chung-jae. When Hano Planning committed housing fraud four years ago, he was the one in charge of the funds.' I couldn't focus on what they were saying, my stomach was aching but I didn't want them to know. I couldn't hold the pain anymore so, I stood up. Everyone looked at me and I said 'I am fine, I am going to my room. I will listen to you from my room.' So, I went to my room and lay in my bed while listening to their talk. So Mun was not calling Ma Ju-Seok as Mr. Ma anymore. 

Oppa and Ms. Chu came to call me since we were going out. I then said 'Ms. Chu can you stand in here under the light.' She didn't ask any questions and stood under the light. I then said 'Oppa and Ms. Chu, don't freak out ok. I recently found out about this.' I then stepped in Ms. Chu's shadow and I went inside her shadow. I could hear both Oppa and Ms. Chu freak out. I said 'I recently found out, I could go into shadows and I can even control the person with their shadows. I can also teleport from one shadow to another.' I shifted to Oppa's shadow and I pulled his shadow hair and Oppa felt the pain physically. I shifted back to Ms. Chu's shadow and came out. I then said 'I am all better, Ms. Chu you have a lot of healing potential. It's just that healing someone is hard. I just now went inside your shadow and I got healed.' Ms. Chu patted my back saying 'Good for you Sua, I am happy you are better now.' I then said 'Ms. Chu and Oppa don't tell about this to the others.'

We got to the place of the scammers. Hana unnie threw a guy to open the door. Hana Unnie said others were in the inside badminton court. She stayed behind to deal with the guys in the room while we went to the court. When we got to the place, Mo-Tak said 'Why is it so noisy here? Can't we work out today?' One of the guys there said 'No, You can't play here today. Didn't you lock the door?' I then said 'I am in a pretty bad mood. I wanted to blow off some steam here.' Jang-Mul asked Oppa to record everyone's face. So Mun walked towards the guy and said 'Who are you to do this? They don't want this. Who do you think you are to take their homes from them?' The guy replied 'What a load of shit. We're not taking them for free. We agreed to compensate them. Do you still not get it?' I then walked in front and said 'Oh is that so ahjussi? Can you tell me more about it?' He came towards me saying 'As long as you take that mask off.' So Mun then grabbed his hand and twisted it. He looked at me and winked. 

Ms. Chu took care of the people of the place while we beat up some guys. I could feel myself smiling the entire time, I was having fun, to say the least. While fighting I said 'Did you know I played a badminton player in one of my dramas? I even got a coach for the role.' After I was done, I went to So Mun and watched him control those idiots. It was happily giving So Mun ideas and that was fun too. So Mun looked at me saying 'Are you having fun?' I happily nodded towards him.

After the fight, Mo-Tak said 'So Mun, you should've been gentler.' Oppa added 'You're right, I think Mun is having trouble controlling his power lately.' So Mun looked at me and said 'Sua seemed to be having fun too.' I shook my head immediately. He then said 'Ok, I'm sorry. It was my fault.' Ms. Chu said 'It's fine.' Mo-Tak was saying something but I heard footsteps and two people coming towards us. I said 'Two people are heading our way.' Just then the door opened and Oppa said 'Isn't he the claw machine guy?' The guy looked at Hana and said 'Hana?' 

We ended up inviting the claw machine guy to have lunch with us. I was sitting beside So Mun and in front of Oppa. Mo-Tak asked 'So what does your father do?' Jang-Mul laughed saying 'Ah, don't be so old fashion. Please understand, This is the first time Hana introduced a guy to us.' So Mun was filling up the guy's cup with soju. The guy then asked 'May  I ask, what is your relationship with Hana?' We paused for a while then So Mun said 'We're noona's...family.' Then everyone agreed with him. He looked at me and said 'Aren't you that actress, Na Sua right?' I just smiled and So Mun distracted him from me with soju.

 So Mun poured him more soju and then he asked 'What do you like about Hana noona?' I lightly hit him on his back while he laughed. Oh, he was acting like Hana's younger brother. He hesitantly said 'First, she's kind.' Everyone broke into laughter. Everyone was drunk, he then said 'She is also warmhearted.' Everyone again broke into laughter. So Mun at this point was leaning on my shoulders. I could see Oppa was getting jealous. He then stood up and walked out, Mo-Tak said 'Don't worry, he is just full.' I continued eating and time after time So Mun would feed me. He would look at me and then feed me different dishes every time. I liked that he was still paying attention during all this chaos.     

Later at night, I couldn't sleep. I was thinking about today, about So Mun. I was in the kitchen area having ice cream and thinking with my movie script in my hand. I heard someone walk in When I looked at the person, it was So Mun. He asked 'Sua, what are you doing at this time of the night?' I replied 'Oh, I couldn't sleep.' He came and sat beside me. He then said 'What's going on?' I looked at him for a while and said 'What do you think about Hana unnie?' He looked a little taken back and said 'What do you mean? She is like my sister.' I scoffed and said 'You're lying.' He asked 'What do you mean?' I replied 'I can see the way you look at her even today when we were eating with her friend. I saw your smile drop.' He replied 'Sua, I was probably drunk.' I looked at him and said 'You didn't drink So Mun.' I walked back to my room after that leaving him alone. 

I had just returned from my shooting, others were looking at golfing places. Then Hana Unnie felt Ma Ju-Seok inside the territory. We got to the place but we were late. Hana couldn't sense him anymore. On our way back, I decided to walk around some places. I was sitting beside So Mun and it felt awkward. 

I was walking around when I heard Hana Unnie shout. I could hear her male friend as well. I then heard that one-eyed bitch. I ran towards the sounds as fast as possible.    

A/N: The lunch scene was so wholesome, I loved it. Really felt like found family.
