Uncanny Counter (Season 2)

Chapter 3

I then heard So Mun says 'This is the end for you, you asshole.'  

So Mun and Mr. Hwang got into a fight. I helped Mae-Ok to take Jang-Mul away. I was helping Mae-Ok but suddenly another evil spirit attacked us. It was the yellow hoodie guy. He said 'Where are you going? I'm right here.' We were able to make him fall but he ran away. I went behind him without thinking. I was kicking him but he kept dodging my kicks, he said 'I let my guard down so, you were able to hit me. And What's up with that mask? Are you that ugly?' I replied 'Actually it's quite the opposite.' I finally got a kick to him and he fell, He then swiped his leg which made me fall. He stood up and was about to stab me with a metal but Mo-Tak caught the metal and said 'Oh Sua, you are doing well.' I smiled and stood up. Just then Mae-Ok came and Mo-Tak said 'Ms. Chu how about we fight together for old times' sake?' She nodded at his words then I said 'I think So Mun needs help. I am going to him. You two can fight this little thing.' 

When I got there, I saw So Mun hanging to a wall and Mr. Hwang was controlling him. I yelled 'SO MUN.' All the lights in the place blasted and it became all dark. So Mun fell while Mr. Hwang had his hands in his ears. So Mun then stood up and made Mr. Hwang fly with his powers. So Mun then controlled some of the other stuff in the place and tied Mr.Hwang to it. So Mun then used his powers to try and rip Mr. Hwang apart. Mr. Hwang then looked towards Jang-Mul but had just come in and said 'Don't you think you have too many for this to end? People, you need to protect.' He then pulled a gun with his powers and shot toward him. Luckily I moved fast but the bullet got to my arms. So Mun ran towards me and Jang-Mul came from behind, When we looked back at Mr. Hwang; he was gone. 

Back at our place, Jang-Mul was shouting at me 'Sua, You can't take the bullet for me. You are still young. I should be the one to die. And don't actresses take care of themselves?' I replied 'I only need to care for my face and the mask was protecting me. I couldn't just let you be shot.' He yelled back 'YAH! You punk. Are you out of your mind? If the team doesn't have you then we are good as dead.' I then replied 'I couldn't just stand there and do nothing. And anyway looking at the age there would be less chance of me dying than you. You were already so injured too.' I think what I just said made it more worse, he yelled 'You don't get it do you?' Mae-Ok was trying to get him to calm down but he didn't listen to her at all. After some time Mo-Tak came in with a vinyl record and saved the day for me. Mae-Ok and Jang-Mul danced together in the ring and it was nice to watch. I was giving them flying kisses when I saw So Mun looking at me. I looked at him and said 'What?' He replied 'Thanks for saving me today.' I smiled saying 'I wish I could have done more.' I was watching the two dance but I could feel So Mun's stare So,  I said 'Don't look at me with those eyes. I can feel it.' He replied 'What eyes?' Ah, I don't know what to do with him. How can someone not know their actions? 

The next morning, Oppa left us a message. In short, he thought he was not fit for the job and ran away. I had work so, the others went to search for him first. I would catch up with them later. I didn't go to the farm that day, I didn't want to see my dad honestly. No matter how nice he is, he is only nice to his son or my brother Jeok-Bong. Mom was at least better than my dad towards me but after she passed away. I became completely on my own. I moved to the city and learned Seoul's dialect as well. I didn't want to see my dad so, I didn't go with the others.

The next day, I was training on my own when suddenly So Mun grabbed my hand and said 'Jeok-Bong hyung is in danger.' I immediately got ready and went with So Mun and Hana. When we got there Oppa was fighting the evil spirit well. It was kind of funny seeing my brother fight but I felt proud at the same time. When he put the cow dunk all over the face, that was my favorite part. Later I had to face my dad no matter what, I sat down with him and Oppa. He said 'I saw that you have achieved your dream.' I nodded, he then said 'Do you have a boyfriend or are you married?' I looked up at him and said 'I don't have a boyfriend and I am not married. I am not interested in marrying anyone yet.' He then said 'You were always a rebel.' I didn't say anything, I stood up and was about to go and Oppa tried to stop me but I walked away. Dad then called out to me 'Sua, You don't need to send me money anymore.' I looked back and said 'Why? Because now that your son will start earning you don't need me anymore?' He replied 'It's not that, I know I haven't been the best father to you but you are still my daughter. Girls need to treat themselves. I will be happy if you can get married before I pass away. I need to make sure both of my children are happy before I go to meet your mother.' I replied 'I earn enough so you don't have to worry about that Also as you are still my father I am also your daughter, let me do my duty as your daughter and accept the money I send you.' I then walked away. 

So Mun, Hana, and Mo-Tak had gone to court for a hearing of their close one. I had shooting so, I was busy. Oppa had not returned yet so Mae-Ok and Jang-Mul were waiting for him at the hideout. 

It was night already, I was on my way back but I saw So Mun on my way. I followed him for a while then I saw him talking with a grandpa. He looked like he was So Mun's family. I decided to say hello but then So Mun carried a grandma on his back. I didn't want to disturb them so, I thought 'Maybe next time' and walked in another direction. 

So much was going on but finally, we got a chance to stamp my handprint on the wall. Everyone was present for mine and Mo-Tak said the same thing again 'When you find So Mun's hand print that will be the time you will truly be a counter.' Mae-Ok added 'Don't worry Sua, seeing you fight you are already a true counter.' I got the purple paint in my hand, and Oppa yelled 'Do well Sua.' I could feel everyone staring at me, then I jumped. I was able to straight hold the bars of the roof. I looked in front of me and saw two blue handprints. I got on the roof and yelled 'I see two blue handprints here. So Mun is it yours?' So Mun yelled 'Yeah, Wow. Sua you did it. The first one is mine.' Hana talked to herself 'At least we have one qualified counter.' Jeok-Bong said 'That's my sister.' Jung-Mul said 'We don't have to worry about anything anymore.' 

I looked at the two blue handprints, I walked toward So Mun's handprint and put mine right beside him with a little of mine touching his. I then looked at the others and yelled 'I will protect everyone with my life.'
