"Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams"

The morning of the Deb Ball was hectic. Which was expected considering how much time Susannah had spent making sure everything was perfect for her perfect girls.

Madeline felt the sun suddenly shine brightly on her making her sit up. Once her eyes adjusted to the sudden change she saw it was her mother standing there.

"Morning! Rise and Shine!"

"You are way too happy. It's only seven in the morning."

"Yes, but you and Belly have to be at the club by eleven for rehearsals. Plus Hannah wanted to finish painting you before you have to leave."

"Can I eat breakfast first?" Maddie asked standing up.

"Of course" Catrina nodded. The blonde noticed her daughter was nervous so she sat down next to her on the bed.

"Are you ready for your big day?"

"Not at all."

"Oh, yes, you are."

"What if my dress rips? What if I sneeze while I walk down the stairs? What if I end up messing up the Waltz??What if I trip?"

"You won't. Just hold on to Jeremiah's arm. He won't let you fall. And even if you do he will probably make his fall way more embarrassing for your sake." Catrina reassured.

"That's true."

"You know, I still can't believe you got him to go with you. He swore up and down he'd never go to one of these things."

"He said he doesn't mind."

"Well, he'd do anything for you. Also apparently Mason is taking Belly because her and Cam had a falling out." Catrina explained. Maddie raised a eyebrow at that. She was with Belly all last night and she never brought it up.
