A Truce

I wake up due to the bright sunlight hitting my face. I slowly open my eyes and sit up on the bed. I take a few seconds to fully wake up from the slumber.

I firstly check my phone and was shocked to see 67 missed calls. 28 from yeosang and 39 from Yeonjun.

Should I call them back? Nah, I'm gonna punish them for lying to me for a few more hours.

I order room service and decide to wash up while the food gets here.

As soon as I'm done with breakfast I get dressed and make my way out of the hotel.

I need to pay my cousin a visit while I'm here, or Else I won't hear the end of it from both my mom and Seonghwa hyung.

The cab drops me infront of Seonghwa's bakery 'Blue Summer'

I walk into the bakery and the sweet aroma of Seonghwa's amazing muffins hits me.

"HYUNG!!!!"

Seonghwa peeks from behind the counter and is surprised to see me.

"WOOYOUNG? Oh my god! You're back!"

I walk up to him and we give each other a warm hug.

Seonghwa hyung gives the best hugs, they're almost motherly.

"How are you hyung? And how is Hong joon hyung?"

"We're both great! Tell me about you! I haven't seen you in ages! You could've at least called once in a while!!" He says, slapping my shoulder.

"Sorry, I was really busy"

"You're never too busy for family....now come here!!"

Seonghwa grabs my hand and drags me to the kitchen area. He takes out a tray of freshly baked blueberry muffins from the oven and offers it to me.

Blueberries are my favourite!!

"Blueberries!!! I craved so much for these muffins. You know hyung, no one makes it better than you. No one!"

I take a muffin, sniff it, getting myself high on its aroma. I take a bite.

It was like heaven in my mouth. I haven't had something this good these past years. I start tearing up.

"Hyuuuungggg!!!! These are amazing!!!! I love you!!! And I love your cooking!!! I love life!!!!"

"Woah! They that good? Well why don't you take the rest of the batch. I'll pack them for you!"

I literally started crying out of joy. I hug Seonghwa. He seems surprised to seem me cry, but then laugh at my childishness.

"Aww, you're so adorable! And slightly annoying, but I still love you!" He says, earning a glare from me.

Ah, well as long as I get to eat his food, I don't mind him saying that I'm annoying.

He takes out a few boxes and starts packing up the muffins in them.

"So, did you meet Yeonjun's fiancé??" Seonghwa's asks me.

"Yeah...he's nice." I say, gloomily, as last night's memories come flooding in.

He turns to look at me.

"What's wrong?"

Seonghwa hyung would always sense if something is wrong. Always.

I sigh.

"Yeonjun and I fought. Last night they held a small engagement party and it didn't go so well. I was thinking of returning to US."

We both remain silent for a while and Hyung ultimately speaks, breaking the silence.

"Was it.......because of San??" He asks quietly.
