San's PoV
I rush over to Wooyoung's room, hoping he'll be there.
He's probably worried about us after the news flash. I should tell him everything will be sorted out soon.
As I walk through the corridor, I can't help but smile to myself just thinking about Wooyoung being worried for me, pacing back and forth, chewing his lip.....thinking of me. Caring about me.
I stop in front of his door, forcing the coy smile off my face before I knock.
The door immediately opens.
"San!" Wooyoung's tensed face relaxes as soon as he sees me. He grabs my arm and pulls me inside. "How'd things go with your dad?"
I hold on to my fake serious expression, trying not to grin.
"Better than I thought it would. Don't worry, we'll get things back to normal very soon—" My words catch in my throat when I realize we're not alone. My eyes find a certain blonde man sitting on Wooyoung's bed.
I clench my jaw. "What is he doing here?"
"Oh, Felix arrived immediately after watching the news. He was so worried about all of us."
"Worried? For all of us? Or just you?"
I can't help but sound spiteful.
"San, don't be ridiculous—" Before Wooyoung can finish his sentence, Felix intervenes.
"He's not entirely wrong." Both Wooyoung and I stare at him in shock. Felix rubs the back of his neck shyly.
"I mean, I am worried about all of you, and I promise I'll help in every way possible, but..."
"But?" Wooyoung asks, curiously.
"But I came all the way here to see you in particular."
I glance at Wooyoung, dreading his reaction. As expected, he looks touched.
Felix continues, "Besides, we were supposed to go on a date today. And since I can't take you out till the controversy dies down, I thought—why not bring the date to you?"
Ugh, he's so cheesy. I bet he watched some early 2000s romcom before coming here.
To my disappointment, Wooyoung looks thrilled. His eyes glint with joy and admiration as his grin stretches from ear to ear.
"Felix, you're so silly!!" Wooyoung playfully hits Felix's arm while Felix turns into a blushing mess.
What the fuck?! He's impressed with just a couple of old-school romcom lines?? Bitch, I booked us a limo—not to mention a reservation at the most expensive French restaurant in all of Paris!! And all Felix did was look pretty???
My blood boils. I grit my teeth at the sight of them giggling and exchanging flirty looks. My fists clench as I fight the urge to toss Felix out of the window. I try hard not to lose my cool, but I guess I've never been good at keeping it.
"Why the hell are you still here then?!" I yell, startling both of them in sync.
"What do you mean?" Wooyoung asks, confused.
I take a heavy breath.
"Go on your date. Poor Felix came all the way here just for you, with his little 'date night' plan and everything." My words drip with sarcasm. "Go ahead, have the time of your lives. Who knows—if you play your cards right, Felix, you might even get lucky tonight." I throw him a mocking wink.
The hell am I doing??? Why did I say that??? What is wrong with me??
Wooyoung stares at me, bewilderment darkening across his face. He scoffs.
