It was the next day, which was family day, and Ruby was nervous. She was about to meet her friend's parents and Aunt, whom she'd never met. Although Ruby and Willie were okay with each other, now didn't mean Ruby would be okay with her Aunt. Ruby was worried her Aunt would hate her just for being her sister's daughter. Ellie tried to assure the redhead, but nothing worked as they headed to the courtyard where the event was being held.
"You'll be fine, Ruby. Don't stress it." Ellie said to Ruby, who was freaking out.
"Ellie, I'm about to meet my aunt, whom I've never met. What if she hates me?" Ruby asked, and Ellie shook her head.
"Impossible. She's your aunt. She'll love you." Ellie said, but Ruby didn't believe it but nodded her head anyway. "Now come on. I can't be late as the band and I are playing."
