7: Teacher's Anger

3rd person pov:

The next day comes, and Touya is up early cooking breakfast.

Hawks wakes up to the smell of sausage, pancakes, and eggs. As he sits up in bed. Touya walks in with a tray of food.

Haw:"Mm..What are you doing up so early?"

Tou:"I guess waking up every day around this time has set my internal clock to it. Now let's enjoy ourselves. After all, a good vacation should start with breakfast in bed."

Touya smiles and hawks sighs in defeat. Then he takes another look and sees bags under his eyes.

Haw:^Something is on his mind that kept him up all night. I won't push for answers, but I'll be sure to comfort him.^"Let's eat then. It smells delicious."

As touya sits beside hawks. He's pulled in close. Then the wing pulls up the blanket over his legs.

Haw:"It's to keep the cruise off the fitted sheet."

As touya starts to eat. Hawks wing rests on Touya's back. Feathers move in small circular motions to massage his back and shoulders.

Tou:" nnn...... hey, babe? I hope you like the foo-"

Touya's head lays on Hawks shoulder as he gently drifts off to sleep.

Haw:"It was delicious."

Hawks places a hand on Touya's head and helps him lay down. Then, the winged hero cleans up before getting in the shower.

Haw:^I found a clue, but finding time to investigate will be tough. Now might be my only chance. At least here. I know he'll be safe.^

Hawks puts on casual cloths and heads out, but not before kissing touya.

Haw:"See you in a few hours. I should be home in time for dinner."

Hawks heads out, and touya turns over while whimpering.

In his dream. Blue flames cover the rubble of what use to be a city. As he stands alone laughing like a madman. Enji is covered in burns while trying to shield shoto. Only for touya to kick him off shoto. Body covered in burns as he stands above the hero.

"AWW what's the matter? You got what you wanted. Now we can be a family once more!"

Touya steps on shoto to get to enji and shoto is unresponsive. Once touya gets to enji. He embraces him.

"I'll reunite us all, IN HELL!!"

As Touya's flames begin to engulf them. Enji whispers.

Enji:"I'm sorry for not being the father you needed. I let you down son."

Enji hugs back as rai, natsuo, and fuyumi run up towards the blast. Tears in their eyes as they reach out.

Tou:^No, STAY BACK!^

It's now mid day and shoto is in the hospital wrapped up from his injuries. Aizawa stands over his student with fists balls up so tight that his nails break through the skin. Blood trickles as he wants to avenge his student who's battling for his life in the ICU.

As aizawa is about to leave the room. Someone unexpected walks in.

Aizawa looks back to see Endeavor. His face has a thin branch coming up from under his shirt and rests on his left cheek.

Aizawa:"I'm sorry. I failed as his teacher and protector."

Enji:"I know what you're thinking, but it's too dangerous to get further evolved. Keep your students safe and out of the way."

The last four words seem to have another voice behind it. So aizawa turns around and uses his quirk.

Enji:"That won't work on me. Most quirks are a part of someone, but you see, I am my quirk. We are one in the same. You've only stopped me from using this person's quirk. Now let's talk. You and your students will be safe. So long as they stay out of my way."

Aiza:"What do you want?"

Enji smirks and his head tilts to the side.

Enji:"I'm only trying to set things right. By any means necessary."

Aizawa uses his scarf to restrain enji. As he charges in to knee enji in the face. Branches come up and ensnair him. Pinning aizawa to the wall on the other side of the bed. Then a root wraps itself around the cord to Shoto's life support.

Enji:"Will you let a student die, or will you back down? I've ensured that this one's life is always in my hands. Seeds are planted in every organ that'll burst if I see anyone trying to enterfear with my plans."

Aizawa growls, but surrenders. So enji releases him and leaves when roots come up from the floor to get him.

Enji:"Don't forget to inform your students. We wouldn't want them causing more trouble."

Enji leaves and aizawa punches the floor in defeat.

Meanwhile Hawks starts at town hall to look at a building's layout. That's when he sees something strange. So he heads to t h e same location that shoto went to. That's when he sees in the parking garage a puddle of fresh blood, but no one in sight. Then he finds a hatch that leads underground. So he follows the tunnel. Only to see a root that's three times thicker than the tree on the surface.

As Hawks walks further. He starts to see the structure around him look more like a hospital. Only to see someone laying against the wall while wrapped up in vines.

Haw:"Are you alright!"

Hawks runs over to help. Only to see enji unconscious.

Haw:"Endeavour, hey wake up."^How the hell did he get this far by himself? Especially in his condition.^"You're alright now. I'm gonna carry you back to the hospital."

Enji looks up weakly and points ahead.

Enji:"Keep going and leave me here. You have to save my son....... please, save him."

Enji has a tear roll down his left cheek and roll down the branch to his chin. So Hawks picks enji up and helps him to his feet.

Haw:"We're getting out of here together. That way touya won't be heart broken. Now let's push forward."

With enji's arm around Hawks shoulder. He supports the flame hero to move further in.
