Friday rolls around and Sadie notices her father figures have been acting a little strange. Constantly wary of when they go out, checking around corners before she even walks around them.

Paranoid, is the word that comes to Sadie's mind when thinking of them. Even when they're all hanging out at Axel's at the end of the day, Corey spends a lot of the time now typing away on his laptop. Sadie was starting to get worried.

She was sat at school in her favorite class, english. Sadie was mulling over the possibilities of her parents paranoia, nothing seemed to come to mind. She sighs and looks out the window next to her seat.

A bright flash catches Sadie's attention out the window and she leans sideways in her seat for a closer look. The flash came from the distance, a black car was parked in the school parking lot. The seriously tinted window was down slightly and the nose of a camera was pointing out of it.

Her eyes go wide as she feels the chair tip and she goes crashing to the floor. Sadie gasps and cringes at the pain in her wrists as the frantic teacher helps her up.

"Are you alright Sadie? What happened?" Sadie was quick to rub at her wrists in front of the teacher, catching her attention there.

"I was leaning down to my bag to get something. I must have leaned too far..." Sadie makes a face as the teacher pokes at the already forming bruise. She must have hit it on something.

"Well why don't you go see the nurse?" Her teacher politely drops her hands and helps her put her bag on her back. She closes the classroom door behind Sadie and Sadie makes her way to the nurses office. She was starting to think that maybe she should just hang out in there all day long.

She knocks before entering and sees the nurse sat at her desk.

"Sadie come in. What can I do for you?" Sadie found the nurse to be pretty nice. She was glad about that for sure. Most of her other teachers were fine, just there were a few that were somewhat questionable.

Sadie sits in a chair and holds out her hands, explaining the same story over again. Reaching for something was a lot better than looking out the window too hard. The nurse wraps the bruised one and hands Sadie an ice pack.

"Alternate between wrists until it isn't cold anymore." Sadie nods and the nurse sends her off to her next class. Sadly the bell had rang while she was in the nurses, so she missed the rest of english.

Her next class was the one right before lunch. Unfortunately that means Sadie has to sit through an hour of math. She wasn't bad at the subject but her teacher was annoying, he liked to hear himself talk that's for sure.

Lunch finally came around and Sadie was on her way to her to the commons when principle Hellen stops her.

"Sadie hey, I was hoping you would do me a huge favor?" With a raised brow Sadie reluctantly agrees. 'Who's gonna tell the principle no?'

"Fantastic, we've got a new student and I was really thinking you two would hit it off." Principle Hellen guides Sadie into her office where a girl is situated in a chair at her desk. Sadie knew the reason the principle thought she was perfect, it's cause she already didn't have any friends. 'So why not stick two friendless girls together?'

"Mavis this is Sadie, she's gonna show you around this afternoon. Sadie don't worry, you've been excused from all your classes for the afternoon." Sadie was speechless, how long was her principle planning this? Principle Hellen left the room and Sadie turns to look at Mavis.

Mavis was cute with freckles and light brunette hair, her grey eyes pop against her pale skin. Though her most notable feature would be the giant scowl on her face. Sadie wasn't sure why the principle thought she was the best candidate for this.
