Axel stood with his arms crossed, impatiently waiting for Sean to show up. He was at the aquarium when Sean texted him about an emergency at the hospital. He was quick to arrive, only to find Sean no where to be found. Sean's team and him had been going through it lately, Axel worried for him. All of them.

"Axel, hey sorry.." Axel raises an eyebrow at Sean in question.

"Just uh, come with me." Walking along side Sean, Axel gives him a second to start explaining. However, Axel ends up having to be the one to start the conversation.

"Sean, what's going on?" He was being really weird and it was starting to worry Axel. Sean sighs and hands Axel a copy of, one, Sadie Colter's dna matchings. In his confusion, Axel reads over the paper.

                        Maternity/paternity test

Name: Sadie Lynn Colter
Age: 13

Mother: Kaylie Winchester

Father: Marc Weiland

Axel physically has to read over the paper three more times before the information registers in his brain. 'Kaylie was pregnant with Marc's baby when she left us.'

He looks at Sean in confirmation as his eyes well with tears of confusion. Axel receives a nod and the tears freely fall. One hand raises to cover his face while the other crumpled the paper from his tight grip. 'How could she do this to us?'

"Is she here? Can I meet her?" Axel's mind was in chaos. What was he going to do? Sean nods and motions for them to keep going. Axel hurriedly falls into step beside him.

"Is Kaylie not with her?" Axel attributes Sean's silence to her possibly being here. He didn't care, he'd do anything to be able to see Sadie Lynn Colter.

"She came in alone, with a busted up chin. Said she fell and hit it on cement." 'Why was Kaylie not here with her?'

Sean led him to Phil's private room and stops at the door. Axel feels his palms start to sweat as Sean reaches for the door knob.

Sadie was glad to hear the door knob turn, signifying Dr. Sean's return. Thankfully Dr. Roberts refrained from asking any question, but the awkward silence was almost worse, in Sadie's opinion. Dr. Sean walks through the door and pauses to hold it open for someone new.

A tall man with long dark hair walks through the door that Sadie had never seen before. He was dressed normally, and didn't have any formal identification on him. 'He's not a hospital worker.'

Upon making eye contact Sadie's widen as the stranger was clearly crying at the moment. Confused, she glances around the room to the other occupants, finding two different looks of sadness. 'What is going on?' Sadie feels like she's been asking that question way too much lately.

"Sadie, I'd like you to meet Axel Toma." Dr. Roberts broke the sad silence and the man known as Axel quickly wipes his tears. He gives Sadie a watery smile and clears his throat.

"It's nice to meet you Sadie." Sadie could only muster a nod as she was too confused by the situation to speak. Grabbing her attention, Dr. Roberts hands Sadie a piece of paper.

The paper was enough to bring tears to Sadie's own eyes. Her tears drip onto the paper in her hands and she sets it on the bed beside her. Her blurry wet eyes stay fixed on her lap as she cries. 'So Blake isn't even my actual dad?'

Sadie looks up as her hand is gently grasped. Her eyes connect with Axel's and she makes a split second decision to just go with it and squeezes his hand. The least she could do for herself is meet her real dad. She's sure the parental figures in her life couldn't get any
worse.
