Corey and Raven were driving through a small neighborhood. Both finally found enough free time to go and see Axel, as well as their newfound family member.

Raven was more than excited to meet their daughter. He never before had thoughts of the team and Kaylie having a child. The idea would have been rather preposterous honestly. 'Kaylie? A mother? As if.' The only good thing Raven ever found about Kaylie was the sex, and he already had Corey for that. He'd definitely prefer Corey over Kaylie any day.

Raven was sat in the passengers seat, Corey having not let him drive, for some reason. His knee was bouncing uncontrollably while he listens to the radio in the background. He wouldn't admit out loud of course, but he was somewhat nervous to meet the girl. Many before have told Raven that he's very intimidating, even the team has mentioned it. He was afraid to leave a bad first impression.

"What're you thinking so hard about over there?" Raven could somehow always count on Corey to understand his moods. He keeps his eyes focused on outside the window, keeping a grip on Corey's hand on the console, he sighs.

"What if I frighten the girl?" Corey squeezes Raven's hand sympathetically with his eyes still on the road.

"Everything will be ok, Ray. She's got no reason not to like you." He huffs and brings Corey's hand to his mouth for a kiss to the back of it.

"If you say so, moya lyubov'.." Corey continues to hold Raven's hand tightly as he drives forward. It was 8:00 am when they pull up to find Axel's suv not in the drive. 'The girl must be in school.' Corey parks on the curb and sends Axel a quick message.

                                         Axel

We're at your house.

There's a key under the potted
plant to the right.

We'll wait inside for you.

Corey clicks off his phone and gestures for Raven to get out as he turns off their truck. They head up to Axel's door together and Corey is quick to procure the hidden key. Inside Corey hangs his coat up while Raven plops himself onto the couch.

Both men are surprised when a grey tabby cat comes wandering into the living room. Dahlia jumps onto the couch beside Raven and gives him an experimental sniff before meowing and walking away. She goes to her resting spot by the big window and lays under the plants.

"Axel has a fucking cat." Corey laughs at Raven's more than obvious statement and sits beside him on the couch. Raven's arm naturally goes around him and he looks around the warm space. There was a large fire place with a tv mounted to it, hanging and potted plants seemed to dominate most of the living room. Browns and greens were evident everywhere throughout and Corey felt very relaxed.

They didn't wait long before the sound of the door opening catches their attention.

——-

Axel pauses just barely at the view of his two teammates and closes the door behind him. He hangs his coat up and drops his keys in the key bowl on the entrance table.

"Corey...Raven, it's good to see you guys." Axel smiles at the two and sits on the far end of the sectional.

"I just dropped Sadie off at school..." He rubs his neck and scratches Dahlia's chin as she maneuvers through his legs. All three men were quiet for some time as Dahlia purred happily.

"What happened Axel?" Corey was the first to speak up. His curiosity was killing him. How did they become fathers in the blink of an eye?

Axel sighs and rests his hand on Dahlia.
