"I'll be honest, I didn't think Lu's plan would work!" rejoiced Luana and sat down on the sofa with her. Lu was still looking thoughtfully at the floor. "I see," he replied. "What's wrong with you?" Luana wanted to know, Cheng also looked at his buddy in irritation. Lu bit his tongue.

"There's a thought that's been bothering me all this time...Well, when Scarlett was killed, it was about one o'clock at night...but at that time of night, Lu has an alibi. He was in the hospital. Something is wrong," the boy shook his head. "But if that's the case, yes Scarlett killed someone else...", Luana finished thinking. Lu looked at the broken cell phone on the table. "Today, the officer had this cell phone brought to me. To be more specific, this is Scarlett's cell phone," Lu explained. Cheng looked up. Scarlett's cell phone?

"Cheng...could you...see if we have a chance to find out something?" his friend wanted to know. Cheng looked at the broken display. His eyes lit up ice blue as he tried to match up the blurry images. Curious, Luana looked at him. "Wow...your eyes...they are so incredibly beautiful," she said aloud. Cheng tried to concentrate...but...

His heart started beating faster. Because of Luana?

"I just see Scarlett jumping off the bridge. Strange. My powers don't let me see anymore," the boy confessed. Lu nodded seriously.

(At the same time)

The officer spent another hour squeezing information out of Min. "What about this young woman here? Scarlett," Xiao wanted to know. Min looked at the photo. "Yes...yes I remember her. When I had a meeting with the boss of LifeJoy once, she brought us coffee. She's the assistant or something," Min Guan told. "I guess she was just here for the money and wanted to put the boss behind bars," Min laughed. "But I haven't seen her...since that day," he said.

Was he lying? Xiao Lee massaged his temples.

"Stop lying," the officer snapped at him. "Then how do you explain her death to me?", Xiao shouted at him angrily.

Min winced. "May I have wa-"

"NO," Lee replied.

The silence got loud.

"I don't. I only have vague memories of pain and an ambulance. I hit something! Can't you see I can't walk!", Min threw back in exasperation. The man stood up.

Slowly, he didn't understand anything anymore. Was it perhaps because...Min Guan suffered from multiple personality disorder? That would explain a lot. Actually, this had to be the only possibility. His 'friend' was his other self who had killed the people. But Min did not have the memories because he was taken over in that state. That would also explain the paralysis...at least more or less.

"I see," Xiao jumped up and left Min alone in the interrogation room.

(Change of view)

"I'm going to look at her memories again," Lu said. "That way we can find out what really happened to Scarlett that night".

Cheng waits a moment. "That's not going to be easy. Are you sure you want to take on all that burden again?" asked Cheng uncertainly.

Luana looked from Lu to Cheng expectantly.

"I'm finally on board with you guys doing something like this," she gloated quietly. "We have to do it. We have to find out who really killed Scarlett. I don't believe it was a suicide," the dark-haired one snorted. "No matter how low the chances are, I'll try".

"Good," Cheng replied, handing him the cell phone.

"Then lets start"
