The shot pierced the jacket, the fabric of the sweater, then her warm skin. A gaping little hole appeared on her chest. Blood mixed with tears as Tali fell to the hard floor of the subway shaft. Her sad, tired eyes blurred and lost their shine. Taji's scream ripped through the air, he jumped up immediately, his arms stretching out desperately to catch his sister. "No! No! Tali! Tali, please don't!" he screamed, his composition breaking, tears running down his cheeks, his fingers shaking, twitching and swaying. He wanted to touch Tali, but his body refused.

"You all betrayed me," said a deep, angry voice. Juan slowly came out of the tunnel, he had taken off his suit, only his shirt and bulletproof vest adorned his upper body. Blood was on his hands, a gun aimed at Tali and Taji. Everyone looked in shock and horror at the lawyer who had just shot his bodyguard. Luana knelt down hesitantly, trying to see where the wound was. Should she stop the blood? She carefully placed her hands on the blood gushing out, she felt it burning on her skin because her scratched hands were also injured by the explosion and the impact. She felt the burning, but suppressed the pain. She would do anything to keep this girl alive. Tali couldn't die like this. "Go to hell, everyone!"

Juan yelled, his glasses were shattered, but he no longer cared.

"Tali! Tali! No! No!" Taji sobbed, stumbling and gasping.

"Die, you miserable scum!" Juan hissed and pulled the trigger. His eyes shimmered dangerously golddn in the light. The bullet grazed Taji's shoulder, his scream shook the area. "Damn it, you monster! You sick bastard!" Lu shouted and jumped on Juan, but Juan simply pushed him to the ground and aimed his gun at the dark-haired man.

"Oh no, don't you dare! You won't die today!" Cheng interjected and slammed his body into Juan. The lawyer stumbled to the ground, Cheng immediately started kicking the man. "You won't kill Lu!" He screamed, beside himself, and kicked him again and again. Juan's eyes narrowed, his golden shimmer disappeared, only anger filled them. "Get off me, you filthy beast!" the lawyer yelled and punched Cheng in the nose. The blonde hit the concrete wall, but Lu took advantage of this moment and slammed his knee into Juan's stomach. Without even gasping for air, Juan slapped his open hand against Lu's face, but the boy ignored the pain and sank his fist into Juan's neck.

The three men fell to the ground, gasping, while Juan tried to grab the gun. "I'll stick it up your ass!" hissed Lu, he was so fed up with that idiot Juan. He kicked the gun away and nudged Juan's ear with his elbow, but the man blocked the attack. Panicked, Cheng tried to kick him in the stomach, but he couldn't get through the vest! Lu rushed to his friend's aid and twisted Juan's arm.

While the three of them fought a bitter battle, Luana

frantically tried to stop the bleeding with her injured hands. She took Tali's jacket and pressed it onto the wound. The chest of the girl lying on the ground rose and fell weakly. "No, Tali, you must not leave me alone. You must not die yet! Not because of me!", sobbed the boy. Tali weakly raised her eyes, her hand carefully clasping Luana.

"It's okay... Taji... I'm not... not angry with you...", her voice was nothing more than a breath. "No, don't talk, save your strength...", Taji took his sister's other hand. Luana watched the two in panic. They urgently needed an ambulance! Lu hit his back against the cold wall when Juan tried to hit him, but the teenagers were faster than the lawyer. "You damn idiot!" he yelled angrily and slammed Cheng against the wall while sweeping Lu to the ground. But before he could carry out another attack, a screaming Xiao Lee interrupted him. "I finally got you, you filthy bastard!" the officer yelled and sank his fist into the lawyer's face. At the same time, Tali tightened her grip on Luana's hand and pushed her brother away.

"Go... go... Taji... please go," she sobbed with the last of her strength. Taji looked at his sister in shock. "Run!" she gasped. Luana wanted to stop Taji, but the girl held her tight. "What? What are you doing?" Luana tried to pull herself away in panic, but was afraid to take her hands off the wound. Taji hesitated, but then sobbed quietly and ran off. "Damn it, he's getting away!" shouted Xiao Lee, but he couldn't follow the boy because he was dodging an attack from Juan at that moment. "So we meet again, old friend," hissed Juan and

swung his arm. The officer caught his arm and kicked his opponent in the knee. There was an unpleasant crack. "You bastard!" the lawyer shouted and stumbled backwards. In doing so, he grabbed Xiao's collar and dragged him to the ground. The officer took advantage of this moment and instead of simply letting himself fall, swung his elbow and sank it into Juan's chin. This was the final blow, as Juan remained unconscious on the ground. The fight was finally over. Juan had failed.

"Lu...ana...", gasped Tali, she could hardly keep her eyes open. "No... no! Tali, please stay with me, can you hear me! Everything will be fine", Luana tensed up, she felt the nausea rising in her. Tears dripped onto her hands, which she was still pressing onto the bleeding wound. "Thank you... for... everything", whispered Tali. Then her eyes became glassy and she went limp. At the same moment, a brief burning sensation shot through Luana, it was as if a fire was dancing through her fingers. She felt everything spinning around her, voices in her head talking wildly at each other, images flashing. Then it was all over in an instant. Luana looked down and saw the lifeless face of Tali Zhen. The girl was no longer breathing.

Luana was crying. Her tears ran incessantly down her face, but she could do nothing else but cry. "No, Tali..." she sobbed. It was over. Everything was over. "Luana!", worried Cheng and Lu rushed to her, but she just shook her head. She hadn't been able to protect Tali. Another person had died.

"It's over..." Lu tried to calm her down. Officer Xiao Lee also knelt down and checked her pulse... but it was already too late - Tali was no longer alive.

At that very moment, Juan Wu stirred and pulled out a small remote control.

"You won't get me..." he laughed. Then something exploded above them and the tunnel collapsed.
