Shit. What do I do, I wasn't prepared to face him. Do I play innocent? Do I act cruel?! Where's Kohane when I need her! Your thoughts are in a mess of anger and panic. Do you punch him right now? You want to, like really want to. No, you can't act irrationally... But then what do you do?
You make eye contact with Rui Kamishiro, much to your dismay. But before you can do anything Tsukasa steps in.
"Uh, who are you? I've never seen you before..." Tsukasa stared at Rui with a glare full of suspicion.
"That's none of your concern, you tone-deaf musician. Now shut up, I'm in the middle of a conversation." Rui gave an intimidating look but Tsukasa didn't back off, You knew Rui's full identity, he was no stranger to violence. But, Tsukasa was, you need to make sure he's ok, he's done nothing wrong, he's a good guy. Reluctantly, you put a smile on your face and spoke.
"Kasa it's fine! He's just a friend I made at Kohane's!"
"O-oh! I see how silly of me." Tsukasa awkwardly blabbered. As he scratched the back of his head, quietly back down and looked away, dejected. You felt bad but this was for his own good.
"Good... now that that's dealt with, how... are you here?" Rui looked at you with desperate eyes, yet at the same time they were lifeless, but the most obvious thing about him was how tired he looked, you take a second to analyse his face. He's beyond sleep deprived. His hair is also messy. It seems he'd been dealing with guilt. Poor Rui...

Is what you'd be thinking if you weren't preoccupied with figuring out what to do now that Rui is standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. Maybe you should play innocent, if you lead him on to think you didn't get caught... He won't suspect any mingling that you might've done with the Naganohara's.
"Well... After I ran out of the apartment... I ran down the stairs and ran for the back door, I felt bad for leaving you there." You scoff in your mind, feel bad? Yeah right. "I made it out ok, and stay at my friend's for a while, I'm not so keen on going back... Haha." Such an awkward noise came out from you. You look away before you can die of embarrassment. Before you realise it. You're being hugged? By Rui?! "U-uh what's gotten into you?!"
Rui sobbed whole holding you. Clinging on so tightly you think you might pop. "IM SO HAPPY YOU WEREN'T HURT!" Rui cried and cried... "I-I thought I had hurt you... I-I I thought I was the reason you died!" Rui cuddled you and continued to sob, your heart started to swell up. Feeling guilty, you hug him back. You look over to see Tsukasa bewildered and hurt.
"Tsukasa... Uh... Can you go home on your own? I kind of have an issue to deal with..."
"O-oh yeah... totally... well... enjoy your night Y/N, please... Do text me soon." Tsukasa looked like he was about to cry. As he ran out of the café, you wonder why he looked like that. Was Rui that scary? No, it was his circumstances that made him this way. Without noticing, half an hour had gone by of just Rui latching onto you, hugging you and quietly eating. After a while he gained the strength to speak up.
