Even if they block my path
I'll get up again
Even if I clash, crash and break
Just watch me rise

It was Hayun's fault Everlast hadn't debuted yet.

Hayun was bringing the group down.

That's what she's heard from a few staff members, of course including Hwan. It began to circle around the higher ups that Hayun might not have been the right person to replace Minhee.

Maybe Hayun was never the right person to become an idol at all, she probably had wasted her time even trying.

The message from one of the managers stating that she had a solo meeting was staring back at her, the chaos of her home drowned out while she looked at the message on her phone.

Her heart had dropped into her gut which was already churning, the hunger she was facing had dissipated and all that was left was fear.

God, she felt sick.

They were going to take her out of the debut line weren't they? Maybe it was for the best...

That morning Hayun already felt like she was on the verge of tears, biting down on her bottom lip so much the skin began to tear.

Her heart was thrumming so hard against her chest that she felt dizzy, so nauseated even when she had only just reached the building.

Her legs were trembling with every step she took and she wondered if she looked as much of a mess outside as she did inside.

She must've had a pretty clear troubled expression on her features because an observant Renjun had spotted her walking into the building looking unsettled.

He was with Mei as he had met up with her before practices began, the two of them talking casually outside the cafe.

Knowing Mei would find Chenle anyway, he excused himself from his close friend and curiously headed towards Hayun.

She didn't really look like she was aware of her surroundings as such because when Renjun approached her, she jolted in surprise at him appearing in front of her.

"Sorry." He apologised, not expecting her to get scared.
"It's fine." She breathed out, shaking her head. "I didn't see you there."

"Are you okay?" He asked, slightly furrowed brows which made his lips pout a little. When she made eye contact with Renjun, she knew she didn't have the mental strength to lie, instead she shook her head.

There was fear in her eyes and Renjun wondered what had got her so shaken up. With a sympathetic smile, he suggested they head into the cafe.

It wasn't that busy so they took a seat right at the back, Hayun let out a deep exhale with her elbows on the table, hands on her head.
