I wanna be yours
Everlast had gathered in Hayun's cozy living room for a much needed girls night. The air was filled with the quiet sound of a rom-com playing in the background and the occasional burst of laughter from the group as they worked on making friendship bracelets.
The coffee table was littered with small piles of beads in every color, strings of various lengths, and tiny charms. Everyone had claimed their spots- Seola lounging comfortably on the couch, Hana and Akari sitting cross-legged on the floor, and Suyin sprawled across a plush beanbag, beads scattered around her.
"Why don't we do this more often?" Seola mused, holding up her bracelet in progress with a satisfied grin. "This is the most relaxed I've felt in weeks."
"Because we're always busy or sleeping." Hana replied, nudging a string of beads with her finger. "It's rare to just hang out and be lazy."
Suyin smiled, still focused on threading her beads. "It's nice to just sit around and not have to think about anything serious for once."Hayun smiled softly at their chatter, feeling a sense of peace settle in. She hadn't felt this relaxed in a while. Her hands moved slowly as she worked on her own bracelet, but her mind was elsewhere, drifting back to the events of the past week.
Akari, who had been quiet up until now, glanced over at Hayun and furrowed her brows slightly.
"You've been kind of quiet, Hayun. Everything okay?"The question caught Hayun off guard, and she blinked, momentarily snapping out of her thoughts. She glanced up to see the others looking at her, their expressions a mix of curiosity and concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Hayun replied, though her voice wavered just slightly. She hesitated, then added, "I've just had...a lot on my mind."
Seola's eyes narrowed in suspicion as she set her beads down.
"A lot on your mind? Spill. What's going on?"
Hana raised an eyebrow, leaning forward slightly.
"Is this about Jisung?"Hayun froze at the mention of his name. It wasn't that she hadn't expected it to come up- her friends knew everything that had happened between her and Jisung- but still, hearing his name sent a small jolt through her.
Akari's eyes widened in realization.
"Oh my God, it is, isn't it? What happened?"
Suyin looked up from her beads, her curiosity piqued.
"Yeah, what's going on with Jisung? You've been acting...different lately. Like, distracted."There was no point in hiding it anymore. Hayun took a deep breath, her fingers fiddling with the string of her bracelet as she finally spoke.
"Well...last week, he came over to my house."A collective gasp echoed through the room as all four of her friends looked at her in shock.
"He what?" Seola asked, her eyes wide. "He came to your house?"Hayun nodded, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks as she recalled the day.
"Yeah. It wasn't planned or anything. He just...showed up."
Hana's mouth dropped open in surprise. "And you let him in? What did he want?"
