~~Your Pov~~
"Bob! Bob look!" You call with a grin as you wave to him from inside the petting zoo.
It was all farm animals, nothing exotic. He's amused how entertained you are with them, almost as much as the zoo animals are entertained by you.
"I see ya Darlin'!" He calls back with a laugh. "Come on, let's go get some lunch!"
"Okay!" You chirp, patting the goat you're feeding on the head before hurrying out of the fence and to Bob.
"Whatcha hungry for?" He asks, gladly clasping your hand when you grab his.
"I don't know," You admit with a shake of your head. "I'm not all that hungry."
"Want to split an order of chicken tenders? 'Specially since none of the burgers will be like mine?" He offers with a grin.
"That sounds good," You tell him with a smile. "Let's do that."
"Are you having fun?" He asks as the both of you walk.
"I am. You don't mind me taking all these pictures on your phone do you?" You ask, looking up at him.
"Not at all," Bob chuckles. "We'll have to make some picture books."
"I would love that!" You gasp, nuzzling against Bob's arm.
"Y/N?" Bob calls, your gaze lifting to his.
"Yeah?" You breathe softly.
"I'm sorry," Bob suddenly says, catching you by surprise.
"Huh? For what?" You ask, confused by his words. "You have nothing to apologize for."
"I ripped you from your life and have been forcing mine on you. I'm sorry that I can never let you go back," He breathes, stopping in a small corner and placing his hands on your shoulders. "You need to decide now. Whether to stay or go. I will be waiting in the botanical garden if you choose me."
"Bob? What are you talking about? Of course I choose you," You protest, trying to touch him and grunting when he grabs your wrist firmly. "Bob, this isn't funny."
"You have until the park closes to decide," He says, giving you a gentle kiss before he walks away.
You're left rooted in your spot, completely baffled by Bob's words. Why? Why now? Why when you finally felt....happy?! Your hands aren't clean from blood either and no one else relaxes you like Bob does. No one cares like Bob does and he's the only one who has ever chased the nightmares away. Your hands tighten on your crutches and you continue through the park after Bob leaves you, trying to think of reasons why you should be sensible and leave, but they're few and far between. You come to the gate between the entrance/exit and the entrance to the botanical garden.
You just stand there for a while, looking between the two options. You take a deep breath and push through the doors to the botanical garden, searching for Bob and smiling in relief when you see him. You take off and jump into his arms when he holds them open, your crutches clattering as they're dropped. He spins you around when he catches you, smiling as he slowly sets you down. Your arms stay wrapped around his neck and you lift onto your tiptoe to meet his kiss halfway. Things aren't going to be easy and you know this, but Bob is your second half. He's everything you've ever wanted or desired.
As you thought of your life without him you found it to be a very lonely existence. No one would love you like Bob, no one else has ever taken away the nightmares, and no one else has been so patient with you. You smile at him when you both part, relaxing back on the flat of your foot. You grab your crutches again and you both leave the garden and the zoo, Bob taking you back home.
