"Stay the night."
An awkward laugh left Mix's lips, "yeah, I don't think so."
"I mean it," Earth insisted.
"Why?" Mix cocked his head.
"Because you are drunk, and it's too late to be going home alone—especially through this part of the city."
"Sweet... but I can just take a taxi."
"Or you can stay here," Earth moved closer to Mix, his eyes gravitated to Mix's lips more often than Earth would love to admit.
"What do you actually want?" Mix asked, his body too aware of how close Earth was.
"Make sure you are safe."
"Really?"
"Talk."
"As if we haven't done a lot of it tonight," Mix rolled his eyes.
"Or maybe I just want to kiss you again," Earth was saying and doing things that he was sure he wouldn't go for if he was completely sober. He didn't drink much—that was true—but that bit of alcohol he had definitely helped him to be more open towards Mix. He wasn't quite sure what exactly it was about Mix that was pulling him in because on one hand—Mix was someone no one really knew, he lied and pretended to be who he wasn't just to get what he wanted and if he would along the way ruin everything that Earth had—that didn't seem to be a problem for him. But on the other hand, Mix wasn't so unknown—he was, after all, a son of the person Earth cherished a lot. He was sweet and sometimes a little feisty. Now, knowing the situation better, Mix was also a pretty bad liar, but a good person. And there was something about how closed off most of the time Mix seemed that was pulling Earth even closer. When he kissed Mix, in a way, Earth was testing waters—he wanted to know both; whether his attraction to Mix was just out of curiosity or if there was something more... and whether Mix could possibly feel something towards him as well. Even though they were both kind of drunk when they kissed, there was no doubt in Earth's mind that he wanted to do it again. However, were they both on the same page?
"Why?" Mix asked. His voice was quiet—barely a whisper.
"Because I liked it the first time."
"And is there a scenario in which you won't regret it in the morning?"
Earth chuckled, "I'm not that drunk—I know exactly what I'm doing."
It seemed to finally convince Mix that Earth wasn't just playing around with him because the next second Mix was pulling Earth closer and kissing him roughly.

Mix didn't like to wake up in what wasn't his bed or even his flat. His body always felt so sore and his head hurt as if he had the worst night ever. It was mainly because he was used to his own comfort and Earth's sofa definitely wasn't it. He faintly remembered him and Earth arguing in the wee hours of the morning about who was going to take the bed and who the sofa. And right now Mix deeply regretted not to just take the bed as Earth was offering to him.
