___7 MONTHS LATER__

"Flight 234 to South Africa.."

"Are you ready?" I asked.

Fatima nodded.

We had finally decided to go back to South Africa after spending 7 months in Nigeria.
We visited our moms grave everyday.

I was now 8 months into giving birth.

The reasons we were going back was to seek justice and to bring Mr K down for what he did to me and for Fatima to finish school.

"Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seatbelts we're about to land."

I came back stronger and prepared this time.

The minute we landed we got into an Uber and lodged at a hotel.

"We need to at least rent a place you know..." Fatima said removing her shoes.

"Abeg we will. This baby can pop out any moment."

We both laughed.

"Im hungry sha, let's go buy food!!" I said putting on a yellow dress and flat pumps.

The Uber dropped us off at the mall.

"You're really beginning to look the part. The Ade I know hates pumps."

"Please, try carrying a baby in your belly for 9 months."

"Okay I'll try it"

"Eh! If you try it ehn!!" I said playfully hitting her.

"Burgers or Pizza?"

"Bur-"
I was interrupted by my phone ringing.
It was an unknown number.

"I'm coming...just order a pizza."

I walked to a quieter spot to answer the call.
"Uhmmm hello?"

"I see you've failed to listen."

"Sorry who is this?"

"You look gorgeous in that little yellow dress of yours. And that baby bump suits you."

I looked around me , trying to find out who it was.

"Who the hell is this?"

The call ended.

"Who was that?" Fatima asked carrying 2 boxes of pizza.

"I don't know....maybe wrong number."

I had just landed and already creepy things started happening.

We sat in a park eating our pizza.

"So you're resuming school tomorrow." I said

"Yeah, I'm excited to go back...so since you're no longer Schooling, what's the plan to take care of little Fatima?"

"Firstly who said I'm naming her little Fatima" I said giggling.

"Secondly...if I say I have a plan I'd be lying. We'll figure it out though...we always do."

"Okay....and when are you going to tell them.."

Right , by them she meant Neo and Chris.
I needed to tell them the truth about their father before officially opening a case.
With their support I could win the case.

"I'll schedule a meet up.... tomorrow."

"Mhkayy, well I'm jetlagged , we should go now before I pass out." She said standing and helping me up.

"Agreed."

**The following day**

Make sure you come home immediately after school abeg."

"Yes sis , trust me." She replied as we walked to her school together.

I felt very protective of her due to what happened months back.

I watched her walk through the school gates and into the main entrance.

As I walked back home I texted both Neo and Chris , sending them a location to meet up at.
I hoped they'd show up.
It was about time they knew the truth before I made the truth public.

The location was at a park.
I sat there waiting patiently for at least one of them to show up.

Chris was the first to arrive.
My heart began to melt the second I laid eyes on him.

"Thanks for coming.."

"You weren't supposed to come back Ade."

"I know...but there's something you need to know."

"Mhmm I'm listening.."

"We have to wait for Neo to get here first..."

He let out a deep sigh and sat on the bench infront of me.

"Pregnancy looks good on you.."

I smiled.
"Thank you...how have you been? And the Matthew situation..I-"

"Don't mention his name...just don't."

Neo finally arrived, shocked to see her brother there too.

"What is this, a set up?"

When I saw her my eyes became teary and i tried so hard not to let a tear drop.

"Friend..."

"I'm not...your friend." She said.

"Now what was so important that you had to call us both?"

"What I'm about to tell you guys.... won't be easy to hear. You have the right to be mad at me...I'm not telling you this for your forgiveness but for you to know the truth before you see it on the news."

"Just talk!" Neo exclaimed.

I explained everything to them in detail and they were shook from everything I had said.
Neo was in tears while Chris looked actually looked angry.

"So from all you've just said....you're telling me my father raped you...and you're pregnant for him?... Is this some kind of joke?" Neo said angry while crying at the same time.

"Neo I didn't know how to tell you."

"You're a liar and I'm not going to fall for this...my father would never rape someone."

Chris said nothing the entire time.

"Chris tell me you don't believe this whore."

Still, he said nothing.

"I'm out of here. Fuck you and your baby."
She walked away.

I looked at Chris, sitting still on the bench staring at one spot.

I went on my knees In front of him.

"Chris-"

"No get up...don't- don't go on your knees you're pregnant Ade. Just sit."
He helped me up, placing me on the bench and sat next to me.

"Please tell me you believe me."

"It's hard to....this is my father we're talking about. The man I looked up to."

"I know...I just...I need you Christian. I need you to help me win this case. Your father needs to get what he deserves but I can't do it on my own."

"Its okay.... I'll help you. No woman should go through what my dad put you through."

"Thank you, thank you Chris... I can't thank you enough."

"We need to start by actually filing a report at the station."

"Yeah...can we go now?"

"Yeah..."
He looked unsure of what he was doing but I could tell he genuinely cared about me and wanted to help, but couldn't believe he was possibly going to help get his father arrested.

We drove In his car to the police station and opened an official case.
I got interrogated and had my statement written down along with Chris' statement.
Chris got me a lawyer too.

"Miss Adekunle are you sure you're ready to fight against Mr Khumalo in court?" My lawyer asked.

"I'm ready."

"It won't be easy being that he's a man with connections but I'm going to do my best!"
