Upon hearing that Suga was engaged, he was surrounded by a circle of kids, skipping around him, singing congratulations to him.
Daichi comes up from behind and faces Suga, clapping along to the kids' little song.
"Suga, you didn't tell me about this. Kenji told me that you're getting married. Anyways, congratulations!" Daichi says as he attempts to do their old handshake.
Seeing as Suga didn't look to amused with anything happening around him, Daichi asked a serious question.
"You're happy, aren't you?" He asked.
"Are you happy knowing about this?" Suga asked seriously.
"Wha- of course I am!" Daichi reassured him.
"Then how can I be happy?" Suga replies in a monotone voice.
"I-I don't get it." Daichi slightly giggles at the confusion reply.
"Daichi, something happens. You won't understand." Suga says, repeating the same words from high school.
"Something happens, Suga. You won't understand." He repeats.
Later in the day, Suga approaches Kenji, who was talking with Koshi.
"Kenji...I want to go back home tonight." He says.
Never in all the years he's served at this camp has he wanted to leave. Suga loved this place with his heart and soul, but being near Daichi brought back so many memories and feelings he had spent years pushing down and bottling up.
Koshi, upon hearing what Suga said, runs off crying. He runs into his own small cabin and hugs a small picture frame, the picture inside being of his mother.
Daichi comes in to see his son crying and slowly approaches him. He crouches down the the level that Koshi was on and gently hugs and kisses him.
Later that evening the whole camp had gathered to see Suga off. Right before he is about to get into Kenji's car, Daichi approaches him. He puts his hand on Suga's shoulder and looks him in the eyes with a sweet smile.
"Have a good life. I know that you and Daichi will be very happy together." He tells him.
"Kenji...it's Kenji. Suga corrected him.
"Kenji." Suga whispers one more time before leaving.
He joins Kenji in the car and off he goes.
